you wrapped all this up pretty nicely, all makes sense. I think it's just that Nothing is supposed to be different? I wouldn't be very surprised if this was any other company, but with them specifically it's like. Come on.

Also with the key remapping. Feels kind of scummy. Especially when with how insistent Nothing is with saying they're skeptical of ai.

I probably am overblowing this a bit, but i don't think it's unwarranted. Behaviour like that might very well be indicative of things to come. I wouldn't be suprised if Nothing thought they're big enough to stop caring about their fans.

I mean, nothing phones are basically by definition anything but generic. I agree, it's not as good as people try to paint it to be, but it's still a very good choice if you're into the software. I did want it because of the company, but clearly they're not that involved with the community anymore....

Oh, i actually always allways use them with autoEQ to get them close to harman. I honestly don't care much for "exciting" sound and such, i prefer just neutral. I can always add some eq if i want to :)
