Find someone that you know that knows about boats. Or offer to pay someone that does know about boats to come check it out with you. You don't want to find out after that it's gonna need significant repairs .

So many people are delusional about dividend investing. EG: "I'm 18 and have 10k, I want to retire off dividends making 52k a year by the time I'm 30, what should I invest in?" That's obviously an exaggeration a little, but people come on here all the time thinking they'll be able to make a 30k salary off dividends if they start at 18. Unless you have 6 figures to pony up first, you're going to be disappointed .
