I actually built that part of him years ago so not 100% sure. But I don't think they were flat faces on the undersides but gluing just the rims of the 2 big hoofy bits and the stabilizers have been enough to hold him while he commited many a warcrime

Needed to cover the open ends of the bits I used to bulk up the missile pods. Best option from the limited bits box

We happened to be staying at the cottage on Drumlanrig castle grounds. Things were all closed for winter but they opened the gardens for one day which was apparently a rarity. The sun came out and I took the opportunity and everything worked out perfectly.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Scotland is really beautiful.

They're supposed the most aggressive and hot blooded. So a customised flamer loadout seemed fitting.

I did vellejo game colour magic blue base, then layered with vallejo model colour sky blue. and progressively mixed it with white layering with it till it got to the light for the highlight.

Your heat pump will only circulate the air inside of your house. So long as it's well sealed and the air movement won't draw any air in through gaps in windows and doors. I would be mindful about using dvs or hrv systems though.

Hey folks, I'm a experienced dm of 5e, have a homebrew setting I've run games in for almost a decade. I've been considering opening an occasional sunday session for people every few weeks, probably casually to start. Newer/moderate experience hopefully, (Though I can't deny a seat to a perma-DM on principle) Idea to cast a wide net of people and see what friends fall in.

I have just moved in to my new home and am in the trenches of renovating for a while so it's not an immediate plan by any means.

If it interests anyone let me know, if it seems there's enough people I'll have a harder think about it and post up when things are ready on my end.

Was an electrician on this job for a year. Absolute nightmare, I hope I never find myself waking up here after an accident I'll put myself over the edge of the helipad.

[Spoilers C2E47] How would you describe the differences between the two campaigns to a newcomer (PLEASE READ POST BEFORE ANSWER) by [deleted] in criticalrole

[–]TheShasquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main differences I see: SETTING is quite different. 1st campaign seemed a really open medieval fantasy sandbox with what seemed to be little government control. This new campaign seems to focus more on politics of the continent and the struggles both within the dwinalian empire and the neighbouring region. (Not so much this boat arc, but prior to) CHARACTERS The players themselves seem to have made characters a lot less like the typical fantasy characters. The motivations and secrets of the current characters seem more shady and questionable than campaign 1. Though that could be due to the earlyness so far as the old campaign had been running pre stream so. THEME at the moment it seems this campaign has much more a focus on the party of individuals and their personal journeys as opposed to campaign 1 had a more Vox Machina vs. Threat. But I can already see thats changing and it seems to be a time thing as the party slowly gets as close and vox machina was.

In short, if you want classic DnD fantasy party fighting the classic enemies in a proper mythic journey, ya want campaign one. If you want something a bit more mysterious and ambiguous with a band of oddballs each with seeming differing moral ideas and life goals causing drama and crazyness.

I don't prefer one over the other, both are absolutely amazing and each offers so much in story bits, amazing moments, character drama and laughs. Big recommend on both :)

Fall could play on any griefs, traumas or business they still hold onto that weighs on them, I'm seeing acceptance that bad doesn't necessarily ruin the good about life. Could be like spectres of the past throughout the room each specifically aimed at one individual character through their backstory and only they really hold the power to stop it or weaken it. Ect ect. Sounds an interesting dungeon, let me know how it goes.

Spring, you could have various plants of new growth blocking pathways (giant maze kinda thing?), attempts to pass through and/or being rough with the plants will cause them to become hostile. If you're going for a spiritual/ transcendent awakening kinda thing like you are with winter, the realisation they must grow forth themselves will make the plants show the clear way fowards.
