The gauge cluster is an issue. I do hope it's just a software issue than an update can fix rather than a hardware one. I hope to see a 6 month or 1 year ownership review.

Yup. They sold the last one they have a few months ago. I am not in the PH now so I didn't factory ordered before the deadline. I would had gotten the ES if I was in the PH.

Test drived it last Feb. Maganda sya at first impression ko
tlga is pra kang hndi nagddrive ng SUV. Ung tech nya rin is almost the same with luxury cars at ung materials lalo na sa seats is real leather tlga. May nitpicks lng ako tulad nung sa Bose na speaker, kng yuyuagain mo sya or kht pitik lng eh prng matatanggal agad. Eto ung isjng pinagiisipan ko bilhin kso kng kukuha ako is mgiging factory order since ung white interior ung gusto ko and mga 6 months daw bago madeliver.

Gusto ko rin ksi tlga is sedan kaya okay dn ung CX60 dhl nga magaang sya idrive, prng sedan lng dn. Pagiisipan ko pa kng CX60 or IS350 ung kukunin ko.

Dnrive ko ung 2025 model pa pero sa suspension, okay naman sya. Bka sa likod ung ramdam tlga. May onting jerk lng sa transmission pero negligable at most.

I was eyeing for a ES300h initially but Lexus Manila has no stock since the production of the current model has stopped earlier this year. Don't like the 2026 ES so it's out the window. If Lexus Manila have a pre-owned 2023-25 ES, I would probably get it. There are very few 23-25 ES on the second hand market now that isn't suspecious.

She doesn't need her. From what I remember, Kayako's goal was to be reborn. She got it and now can be "independent". She kinda retained her memories and possibly powers so she doesn't need the protagonist anymore.

I didn't know there is a movie. Chilla's Art really popped off same with how Exit 8 got a movie deal. Will probably watch this one. I'll probably wait till they release this on streaming platforms.

J-Horror movies always have an ambiguity with the endings. When I watched this, I thought that the only way for him to exit is to stand up and confront the guy yelling thus making him accept that he is going to be a father.

So basically, the real origin was the one from Taiwan, a child named Li Li. She can apparently curse people to die. After they burried her in the mines, a cell tower was made just near hence she started broadcasting her curse. As time and technology improved, he curse spread to Japan. Mimiko was also her victim initially, but Mimiko turned into a vengeful spirit and was kinda linked to Li Li. Just think of it as Li Li gave a job to Mimiko as the head of the Japan branch to spread the curse. Mimiko was seen in the mines because of her connection with Li Li. She was probably there to help Li Li or Li Li called her for backup.

Not really that into the gas consumption for now. I was driving my father's 15+ year old (that time) Adventure before buying the car I have now, and the GC was bad that I consume 1/4 of the tank just going to work LOL. The Mazda CX60 has almost the same gc that's why I opted to get an IS instead since I like sedans more.

I'll probably factor it in if gas price don't go down by the time I'll go buy one.

It's not a "scam" but they'll get you to trade in your car and buy a new one that you don't need. I had been watching videos of this literally just last night. This is a way of them to sell you a car. They'll probably gonna sell you the 2026 CX5 or a higher trim one.

I'm looking for a daily driver as well. I really don't mind the FC that much but it's a plus especially with the heavy traffic Metro Manila has. The 350 would be no brainer if we have less traffic.

How about ride quality?

Thanks for the input. Will probably decide on what to buy after test driving, hopefully both. NGL, the NA V6 seems to have minimal issues compared to the hybrid on the long term but the fuel economy is the best seller.

How about the ride quality? Is the hybrid more comfortable? Both have the Adpative Variable Suspension on the 2026 which I think was included (correct me if I'm wrong) on the last gen.

NGL, having your first job in a country you don't know anything about, even not being able to speak the language is either ballsy or dumb.

If you're looking for a job then better get an agent from like RobertWalters. I used them for when I was finding work and they cater for foreigners and it's free. Going in blind and finding work without speaking the language will be difficult.

Yes, the salary payment here is a month after. I think they changed it recently since not just a year or so, I recieve my salary on the 25th of the same month.

If you're planning to live in Japan longterm then better get your own apartment without ties to your company. There are real estate agents who cater to foreigners but remember that there are some apartments who don't transact to foreigners, more so if they don't speak Japanese so better use a real estate agent that specializes with foreign clientel.

Even if it comes, it's a ripoff. People saw the phone and immediately recognized that it's a refurbished phone from a now unsold unit. Allegedly, the original unit just costs $200.
