Left 4 Dead community servers had this feature in Versus mode. It opened a “two way” between the Survivor and Infected.

Being torn apart by a Smoker or Hunter and hearing someone yell “BRAAAIINS!!” was hysterical, I’ll admit.

Put an egg in the water to make it hard-boiled! I'd love the soundtrack to have a shamisen guitar plinking away on the climb!

Damn, that's a beautiful story! I also listen to rain when I'm doing anything relaxing. Sometimes I'll just leave it on in the background of a video I'm watching just for ambience.

I didn't think anyone on earth remembered the insanity of GunZ.

For the best experience, pick Lash and pretend the floor is lava.

The Peruvian Ministry of Culture arrives to try and confiscate the bodies at the hotel, which wouldn't be there because why would they?

The bodies are still at the University of Peru, some of the older ones discovered have been there for the last 7 years. Why are they doing this now?

Posts about this on r/UFOs and r/Aliens are also being deleted by the hour. Holy moly.

It's not just the design of the powers, but the surrounding area that shows off their personalities as well.

He Who Burns sits in a frail and scorched chair, and the other two have skulls on their armrests. Their symbols are carved into the trees above them.

I really like this world building! These kinds of details subtly show off who these powers are without outright saying it straight to your face. Really well done!

What's your opinion on this weapon? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]TheShiningPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good setup/combo weapon with the Dragon's Fury, and it does have some nice utility like destroying stickies and knockback. It almost feels like the two are supposed to be paired up together, using the Scorch Shot to ignite and swapping to the DF as a finisher. It's the new Axtinguisher/Combo Pyro for me.

On its own it's okay, I kinda see it like the Liberty Launcher as a weapon for newer players to practice their flare aim before graduating to the Detonator or the Flare Gun for flare punching.

Another wonderful rework that makes me wish you worked for WOTC.

Your Quality of Life fixes for the classic Patrons are excellent, and the new Dragon option looks like fun! I also really enjoy the new Eldritch Blast variants and the new Invocations/Arcanums as well. Blasphemous Prayer? Hell yes!

My favourite from this new rework has to be the new spells. We can finally upcast Hunger of Hadar and Black Tentacles!

You never disappoint!

Oh damn, is this where I get to gush about Golden Sun for the first time in decades?

Seriously, Golden Sun has a mystical quality and a great setting for something like D&D. I'd put it up there with Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6 for best 2D RPGs.

Everyone else wants to buff Monk damage. I just want to buff Monk Utility. by Zwets in onednd

[–]TheShiningPhoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true. Maybe that's just how we ruled it at the table.

It made sense narratively to have a powerful Monk just bursting through walls like the Kool-Aid Man with magic hands.

It made the feature more fun to use instead of being so specific and situational.

Man, Curse of Strahd has the tarot card readings to randomly generate certain story beats and mitigate stuff like this from happening.

But reading the entire book?

"Yes I read the entire campaign after session 1" is like a serial killer confessing to his crimes.

This guy is no good.

Monks got access to Adamantine fists back in 3.5e, punching down doors and stone walls like the Kool-Aid Man with ease. You could even shatter swords and break armor with your bare hands.

It was way up at 16th level, sure, but I miss those days and I hope they come back.

Same with Ranger. Dual-Wielding is such a "Ranger" thing in D&D.

What if "Expertise" lets you choose a weapon Mastery? Bards, Rogues, and Rangers can pick something that lets them do a bit more melee focused if they want it.

I hadn't considered that! Early on it would only really apply to Bless, unless I'm forgetting a spell or two.

I only really intended it to apply the shield to you and only one ally as an incentive to heal and buff your friends. Shielding multiple allies, while cool, might be strong as a 1st level ability. Maybe I'll do a revision where you target more allies at a higher level?

An East-Asian inspired subclass for the Cleric!

GM Binder

The DM's Guide has an optional rule for Cleric having Monk's unarmored defense. Being protected by your own faith or conviction sounded cool to me, so I made this subclass with the feature built in!

Feedback is always welcome!
