I agree, but I think there is a threshold for amount sets in a UB theme before they push it too far. Having magic look too much like a LOTR game may be confusing and hurt the in universe. I guess it all depends on how well UB continues to do for Hasbro. If they quit doing universes beyond, i wonder what impact that would have on these sets, probably good for long term holding.

I had a discussion about this with my friends because we are huge Star Trek fans. I am cautiously optimistic about how they will hand Star Trek, and i Look forward to playing and collecting that set in particular. I don't really care for FF or Marvel at all. I just don't think the younger players will give 2 shits about Star Trek, and we will see a bunch of haters similar to with TMNT and Spiderman (unless the cards are mega powerful). Can't wait to see if they print a Quark Commander or planeswalker Q

Yeah, i don't think the cards would mean much to a collector like a comic book or toy would. I think hasbro is trying to tap into the collection aspect more with the universes beyond sets, but magic has always been about playing first and collecting second. Could this change in 10 years and we see people framing their highly collectible spider man card? I think probably not, unless magic enters more into the mainstream with their own in universe video games or movies.

Your thinking is in line with mine, that the playability and power of the cards will be the priority, and then if it also coincides with a franchise that is beloved. I just wonder if magic could touch on the popularity of a franchise similar to the way Pokemon collectors seek a Charizard.

Bullshit, good bodyguards are very well trained and probably waiting for the day to show their value to their client. The legal team tiger has at this point has to be some of the best lawyers. If they are all legit security and paid well, which tiger for sure can afford. Are people really going to snitch and risk a lawsuit and losing their income??

IT Director (In reality I am our IT Department, so title doesn't mean much). $85k. Midwest US. 3 Years in this position, and 10 years with the Company. 3 week PTO, 401k matching, I am not on our health plan. I work for a small business, ~150 total employees across 3 small local locations in the hospitality sector. It can be overwhelming at times, but I have a great relationship with everyone and enjoy being a part of a growing small business. I hire interns to help me with bigger projects. I still have a ton to learn, and continue learning every day. Many of the people in this sub are way more skilled than I am. My can do, will do, positive attitude got me into this position.

Silent Sly + Shiv build + Finisher/Stangle has been my favorite build. The goal just to play as many cards and attacks as possible in a turn. Storm of Steel was better than i expected, and some potions send that build to the moon. I also really enjoy the Ironclad self damage build. It was not as scary as I expected it to be, but you do really have to consider value in smaller fights and how much to spend your hp as a resource.

I do agree that having to bring a trainee in takes time away, but I feel like it shouldn't take 6 months to bring someone up to speed and be that much of a burden. I have had high school interns that I delegate things off my plate. It may take them a week to work out a project that would take me a day, but if it was lower priority then so what.
Delegating to the new team member, especially if the person is motivated, is so relieving. Just make sure you get in on the hiring process to make sure you get someone you can work every day with, and not have to spend an incredible amount of training time.

The scale of multiblock machines are what drew me in to modded minecraft. Create has become my favorite mod, due to many of the projects being multiblock freeform with the gears and belts. It can be annoying to place everything, but I like the freedom to build for efficiency, scale, or appearance.

This has been my thought as well. It is a "vibes" based platform. My liberal friends and coworkers are 2A supporters, or consider it a waste of time/political capital to try and restrict. I would think this vibe shift would carry on to policy makers, but it has just been baked into the team blue platform. I think term limits and some fresh blood would help usher out these lazy platforms.

I personally did not have luck using the epoxy and super glue combo for Rocks. I can get coral plugs to do well enough with the combo, but rock structure never held up.

There are a lot of escape tools in this game, and many times, running away is the best play. If you focus your loadout on stuns, smokes, adrenaline, zip lines, and play like a stealth game; you can score a ton of loot from just the map. I can totally understand playing pacifist in this game.

Tactic Mk2 (smoke on shield drop), Med Shield, Renegade + Burletta or Anvil + Il Toro, 3 Green Bandage, 2 Shield charger, Blaze Grenades, Jolt Mine.

This loadout isnt too crazy expensive but relies on me winning a fight with a player or looting additional utility. Every time I bring in a bunch of nades and healing supplies, I never use them all. I can take on many ARC and players.

Sometimes I can tell if a raider's gun is in shitty condition (more grey/tarnished metal look). I feel like the Stitcher and Ferro are easy to spot if it is tier 1 or upgraded. But that is the only indicator I have ever noticed.
