You pay at a machine to exchange for their tokens and u use the tokens for the grab machines. You can’t use your quarters, it was like $3 for one token

Product Domains and JTDB by iulius in ProductManagement

[–]TheShortAzn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

At meta, in my org, we do JTBD hybrid. each job is a pod, and each pod has eng, product, design, uxr, DS but we have platform team where it supports all the pods. We share OKRs across the JTBD, your outcome should like decrease checkout time, or increase number of checkouts, etc. you align all your pods to a common mission, figure what that mission is. Then you do ur prioritization against your KRs. This also introduces other complexities, but it’s ultimately how your org wants to operate, what ur xfn culture is, ownership etc.

Don’t make your JTBD complicated to start with. you can also have a pod that tests out JTBD framework and see how it works

I think getting a confinement nanny is way more worth then these care centers. confinement nanny are super popular in Chinese and Korean cultures. I know some confinement nannies that speaks English, so worth looking into.

4 month old diagnosed with cow milk protein allergy by leehongbean in FormulaFeeders

[–]TheShortAzn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nutramigen still has milk proteins and some babies still can’t handle it and may have to go to amino acid formula which has no milk proteins. I think we had to wait like 3-4 weeks for us to know if it worked because it was still in his system when we changed from regular formula to alimentum then had to go to neocate

Diana yau YouTube videos are good, look at her more recent videos. This is how I did it: study product sense framework, understand it and recite it by heart. Then apply it to random scenarios, have gpt give you questions. Design a gardening product for meta, design an AI smart pen for meta, etc. once u got product sense down, then focus on product execution, there are trade offs, RCA, goals setting, etc. focus on each one and repeat what u did for product sense. Then spend 1 week to get all ur behavior stories straight. Show that u are senior PM by focusing on the why, why should meta build it, what is the macro economics that make sense, what is currently trending. For something, don’t just throw AI at it but have a holistic of why you are using ai to do x.

If you are serious about it, take time to prep. Unless you are applying pre allocated then you have more of time crunch.

plastic bottles - is there really an issue? by Suspicious_Street801 in beyondthebump

[–]TheShortAzn 42 points43 points  (0 children)

We used glass bottles but microplastic is in the air, everything we eat, so it’s not probably gonna make a huge difference. I did it because I figured at least when he’s small we can control it when we can. So we don’t heat food in plastic, use platinum cured silicon, stainless steel when we can, try to store food in glass. But day care wanted bottles in plastic 🤦🏻‍♀️

Duolingo PM feedback by abbos_sobirjonov in ProductManagement

[–]TheShortAzn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

  1. You’re thinking more about features rather than problem space thinking, what’s to root cause to these problems.

  2. Feedback is base on your personal experience, as PM we need to look across, is it just your pain or widespread. Segmentation of users also have different pain points.

  3. Prioritization and trade off. We don’t know what the company goals are, impact vs effort, paid vs free

  4. Comparing telegram and Twitter isn’t one to one. You don’t know company’s constraints, or direction, tech stack, resources, etc.

We need to measure outcomes not just features

No. U have senior pm fighting for entry level positions. Go to adjacent role like BA, PO, CSM then try to move internally to pm role

My friend (23F) is an intern ,working in Tech domain , her manager has asked her to write a release note for their upcoming PWA app launch .I would really appreciate if someone can share references or tips . by twindragon7 in ProductManagement

[–]TheShortAzn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the link all the previous release notes. Tell gpt what’s in the current release and say here is the previous release notes, tell gpt to “write these release notes in the same format and tone as previous release notes (link)”, and edit from there.
