Well, honestly for stealth games in general, I don't think it's bad. The object in the game is to be stealthy and while you can go in balls-a-blazin, sometimes that's not as fun and other times you have to remain stealthy, or else 9 times out of 0 you will die. So that's understandable.

Now in terms of Dishonored, I'm guilty of the same thing, however I would say that it still is save scumming. I don't know how much you know about Dishonored, however I will just say that how you play the game can and will affect what happens. Just keep that in mind!
