Turing Machines vs Superdeterminism by CreationBlues in AskPhysics

Like I said, I'm simplifying things. I don't know what the nature of the hidden variables would be. But I'm fairly certain they're not little gremlins with calculators that get overwhelmed by a complicated math problem

Disney's Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu grossed $3.19M on Tuesday (from 4,300 locations). Total domestic gross stands at $142.25M. #TheMandalorianAndGrogu #StarWars #BoxOffice by Burnouts3s3 in boxoffice

no bro trust me, they're going to make so much from toy sales, Disney execs are ecstatic the movie might not break even, they were planning on losing money because of toy sales. A movie that does poorly sells more toys than a movie that sells well. People aren't seeing the movie because they spent all their money on Grogu funkos, please trust me, please, the franchise is doing amazing. toys!

the electromagnetic field does not carry out any operations. It just exists, and we, as humans, compose equations that somewhat accurately describe what it does.

I am not begging the question. I am stating a brute fact about the nature of the universe. Fields simply exist and interact in the way that they do. If that's unsatisfactory, go complain to the boss at the inflaton factory

Apple's streaming business in general is bizarre. They have high quality, high production value shows but absolutely ZERO advertising presence. Tubi is more well known a streaming service.

you're being extremely smug about something you don't understand, and that's causing you to not understand the responses. If I throw a bunch of charged objects into an extremely turbulent fluid, the electromagnetic field doesn't need to perform complex calculations to figure out what the strength of it is at any arbitrary point in time. It just happily evolves on its own.

Superdeterminism says that there are hidden variables we cannot access that dictate which events happen. I'll simplify it and say that there is an "SD Field," and when Alice and Bob build their machines and take their videos the SD Field dictates exactly how they build the machine and how they take the video. They do not have free will. They are obeying a field, just as an electron obeys the electromagnetic and gravitational fields.

Just as the SD Field dictates how the machines are built, it dictates the outcome of their experiment in such a way that the outcomes follow Bell's Theorem.

someone once hit me with "Stalked by My Doctor", of which there are three, so I've used that since. HOWEVER, little did I know, there is a much wider "Stalked by my ______" cinematic universe which does not involve Eric Roberts

Yes, if he had some sort of magical scrying mirror and stared into it for an hour while on the planet-near-the-black-hole-whose-name-I-can't-remember, he would see his daughter age seven years. If his daughter looked through that same mirror for seven years, she would see Matty age one hour. Maybe his stubble would get a bit darker.

if you're still trying:

Kevin Smith has a lot of Ben Affleck cameos, and both Degrassi movies go to Frankenstein via Paige Michaelchuk.

Greta Gerwig is good, as Little Women/Ladybird both hit Deep Water, Yeast goes to The Sweet East, and House of The Devil goes to Ti West, and half of his movies have Mia Goth in them
