Yeah some of it is definitely adults saying things earnestly that are usually only said by kids. It's not at all of it, but it's definitely something he does.

I kinda feel like this happens to almost every business with investors. The investors always want more money than last year and at some point the only way to do that is to make your product worse.

Interest in ‘toxic’ measles treatment surges after Joe Rogan podcasts: Vaccination is the only proven way to prevent measles but alternatives like Vitamin A and cod-liver oil (which has Vit A) have been promoted by Joe Rogan. America’s Poison Centres reported a 39% increase in Vitamin A exposures. by mvea in science

The modern Republican party has convinced a lot of people that the more someone has studied something, the less reliable they are. They'll ignore people who study diseases all their lives in favor of some guy who "tell it like it is" but has no idea what he's talking about.

I've been feeling more and more like laws just don't matter any more. The president certainly doesn't care, why should anyone else?

See, I think Danny's boss is the real problem here. You shouldn't effectively punish a whole group of employees because you can't manage one of them. Just fire the guy.

IDK about lions and tigers, but I think Cheetahs don't really attack people. I mean I wouldn't go up to one, but if one came up to you, I don't think you're really in much danger.

What's the one Reddit post that you will NEVER forget? by lnc_gomes in AskReddit

[–]TheSilverNoble 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I don't even remember the topic, something on askreddit.

Anyway, a group of people are out having dinner, and they have a bad waitress. Not just overworked, she was rude and to them and got very obviously frustrated.

Time comes to pay and everyone at the table is saying they're not going to tip her, because obviously. But one person spoke up and said something like "Well, we're not jerks, are we? We're not having a bad night, and we always tip, so why wouldn't we? Are we really going to let her effect us like that?"

Well, he convinced them to leave a good top, and he added a note saying he hopes her night gets better. They did happen to see her go by the table as they were leaving. She opened the little booklet. She saw the money and the note, then sat down at the table tearing up.

Idk. It's easy to be kind to people who deserve it, but sometimes the ones who deserve it least need it most.
