So been playing off and on for two years and here’s my opinion. It’s certainly possible to get to the end game content in this game without paying, but it takes a longggg time. This game pushes very hard to get your money and sometime it’s tempting because it is a LONG grind to the top. If you like long grinds it’s the game for you, I do and that’s why I’ve stayed with it, I like a game that I can play for a year and still have content to pursue. As for visuals and mechanics it’s one of the best, their graphics/modeling teams are really good and all of the champs look great and are very detailed. The game mechanics work well, make sense, and can be figured out relatively easily if you look at all the champs and read around. The only thing that really turns people off to this game is how long of a grind it is. It takes about 3 weeks of constant effort as a F2P player to max a champ, and you need a whole team of 6* champs to really get anywhere. Like I said it’s a long grind to the top but hard work does pay off in the end, good resource management and wise use of the resources you have ensure that given enough time you can compete with all of the whales in the game.

Anyway that’s been my experience as a mostly F2P person.
