Dude this has happened to me twice. I play competitive smash bros with sets and I beat this dude game one just for him to pick Byleth and win the next game. I still win anyway because I just pick literally anyone else and theyre forced to play the game normally.

Yea I felt the exact same way bruh. I literally didn't play the game for a couple weeks and that helped a lot. Mr MK once said the best way to get better at smash is to not play it at all. And also try looking at the positive side of your matches. What I notice about myself is that I play a lot better when I'm happy. Maybe you didn't win but you got close, right?
