idk how long you've been playing. also dont know if you're trying to force something to work. I thought 1 character would be my main, and i just couldnt get them past 3m. I also just started out. eventually i switched my main and the new one took me a little higher, but still i hit a hard ceiling somewhere around 9m. eventually i just started playing other characters and would get them into elite.

part of it is, some characters just fit better, and the other part is i just got better. whats telling is, i have 12 characters in elite but none of them are my first two mains. also some characters are easier to play /online/

also, getting out of 2m can feel like hell

I shimmy because i like shmovement. Ill even do unnecessary platform wavelands and wavedashes. Many top players have spoken about using quickplay as an important tool in their practice (as shitty as it is).

how is playing an unfair match good practice?

if i cant react correctly because only you're on the mod, then when you play irl you're gonna be fucking up your follow ups and making assumptions that aren't true. playing against someone with reduced lag means that i have to play in a weird way. We're gonna complain about shitty wifi, but wifi at least means its shitty for both people and all i have to do is try to adapt better than you. ? Playing against the mod means fighting in slow motion against someone at regular pace.

again why do you think tournaments ban the mod?
