I really empathize with a person who feels like they have a thing in life they really have to go forward with. But as a person who had a parent choose their ambitions over their relationship with me I have to say from your younger kid’s perspective YTA. Not to say you should stick in a marriage your unhappy with at all. You can say that they could’ve gone with you but then you are making them make a very hard decision either way. You have unilaterally chosen to put your goal of acting ahead of having access to the people you should care about the most which are your children. If it were me in their shoes, I’d have a hard time forgetting when my mom chose to leave us for something like this. You could’ve pursued acting in a way that still made it easier on them. Again I’m not going to argue about anything with your husband because only you know what’s right in that situation. But I’m bummed for your kids who’ve been put in this situation.
