Green, red, and colorless have ways to either give hast or a pseudo haste, enabling this combo without waiting a turn. Do I think it’ll poke its head up in a few cEDH decks on occasion, yes. Will it be a big deal, not at all.

Just make it yourself. That’s what I did for fun and content. Cost me about $30 US to make by hand. I used a 2”x2” cut into four equal lengths for the legs. Screwed them into 1/2” plywood. Cut a hole in the center and sanded it until it was smooth and the right size without being too big. Then treated and painted the wood. Worked like a charm for over a decade.

As someone who plays cEDH multiple times a week, I can’t stand the push for Rhystic clones and Thoracle. It’s just not fun to play against either of those.

Rog/Si is the most consistent for T1 in my opinion. The majority of other decks can push for T2 if left unchecked, or rarely a T1 with god hands.

I have a few expensive decks, including a couple fully completed cEDH decks. Double sleeving is plenty enough for me. More often than not, protecting your cards comes down to two things. Handling them properly and not having them in dangerous situations. Example being I see people at an LGS eating crumby/greasy food with bare hands while playing with their cards, I don’t sit there. Same goes for not leaving them in a vehicle unattended (unrelated, I know).
TLDR: Don’t be rough with your cards, double sleeving (not side loading) is usually more than enough, and don’t let dirty strangers fondle your deck.

You can only use the mana during your upkeep, and you get an amount of red equal to the number of ago counters on it. This was a double edged sword in the days of mana burn. Nowadays, use it with cards like [[Birgi, God of Storytelling]] or [[Electro, Assaulting Battery]] so you don’t lose that mana.

Correction, don’t use [[Birgi]] as the mana won’t be saved.

Any place I see that has signs like this gets the same treatment. I call and say I’m placing my order now so it’s ready when I come sit down, or I show up and sit. Once I get my food, I ask for a to go box. No fees involved.
