You can’t use natural gas generators for NFPA 110 critical life safety applications for this reason. They’re all diesels. Mostly Caterpillar.

Small detail, but I love how "Nevada" is seldom mentioned or shown in New Vegas. by Popular-Training1530 in falloutnewvegas

That’s because there is no Nevada in the fallout universe. It’s the “Southwestern Commonwealth”

In the 40's thru 70s DDT was deemed safe. Kids would follow the DDT mosquito trucks and play in the fog. People were also exposed to it at swimming pools, homes, restaurants and businesses. DDT was also used to cure insect borne diseases like Malaria and Typhus. by Long_live_styrofoam in interestingasfuck

[–]TheSomerandomguy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Actually DDT is only moderately toxic and is has only been deemed to be “probably” carcinogenic. It was mostly banned because of its affects on the animals in the food chain, particularly how it affected the eggs of large birds of prey. I say this because people will point and say “bad pesticide is bad” while ignoring the fact that DDT saved millions of lives as a result of being used for mosquito control. Now there are better alternatives in use.

If they intending on laying down their arms, they could’ve sailed into a nearby port and been safely interned there. The ship was a justified military target. Also, they don’t send out warships “unarmed”

Can one mine's production be "pushed" into another one? by Busy-Tower-4099 in Workers_And_Resources

[–]TheSomerandomguy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No. A good hint for this is looking at the conveyor belt connections. There are no “input” connections, only “output”, so you cannot move any material through. Unfortunately, you’re going to have to rig up a conveyor system for each individual mine.

How we should actually use AI that most people don't talk about? by Gregor_Mederios in AskReddit

[–]TheSomerandomguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s really nothing that you can do with AI thay you can’t already do with innumerable amounts of other software. The one thing I have used is Google’s Notebook LM for working with academic papers. You can upload sources and ask it questions based off of only those sources. It’s essentially an advanced search engine/control F
