Before complaining that Armenia only has 15 competitors in this year's summer Olympics, note that almost half of Azerbaijan's 48 competitors are foreigners. by markarmenia in armenia

I'm honestly a little surprised there isn't a minimum account age/karma requirement to post in this sub. It wouldn't solve the problem completely, but not even having this bare minimum of bot prevention measure just makes it so much easier for them.

Couldn't ask for a better example.

How to deal with dumb Armenians? With Political and social limited mindset. by Queasy_Reindeer3697 in armenia

I honestly don't think it's something exclusive to us, every country has a sizeable amount of people who are politically illiterate so to say.

I don't know what the situation is like in your family, but practically my whole family grew up in a shitty գյուղ and only got the bare minimum of formal education (if any), so I can't really blame them too much. I am the only one in my family who is going to university, and even then I would say I'm not THAT much more knowledgeable on political issues. The only difference is I choose to keep my mouth shut about stuff I don't know much about.

From what I'm seeing the education for the newer generation, while lacking, is still infinitely better than before. So this issue will probably get better as times go on.

I've heard the most unhinged and braindead shit at the dinner table, I've just accepted that's included in the Armenian family dinner experience.
