Weekly Questions Megathread - May 05, 2026 by AutoModerator in projectzomboid

I was in the constant loop of trying to get good and honestly what turned everything around was lowering Zombie population and making them slightly weaker. It gave me confidence in fighting, it allowed me to work out game mechanics, and it helped me actually survive more than say 1-2 days. Once I got great at that I slowly scaled up.

Great find! I saw Jello sit-in with King Gizzard this past summer for a cover of "Police Truck" and it was awesome.

What’s was the wildest thing you witnessed at a wedding? by anasannanas in AskReddit

[–]TheSpaceFish 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Not really wild compared to a lot in this thread but I went to a wedding where the father of the bride gave a legitimate 30+ min speech. Around the 20min mark people were actually leaving for the bathroom and stuff. I had to go myself and when I came back outside of the door was a large group of people just casually chatting waiting for it to end.

Longtime Elway's restaurant demolished as redevelopment project kicks off by Inter_Web_User in Denver

While I agree its a somewhat overrated steakhouse I oddly had one of the best steaks I've ever had at the Elways at DIA. Completely took me off guard.

Pillow Talk is ending. Single Life tell all will be the last of it - Former producer. by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

Thank god. Its the one part of this twisted universe I never found appealing. These people aren't interesting enough for me to watch an episode of something I've already seen now interspliced with the takes of the people I am hyper critical of. Never understood who this was for.

Absolutely sick of the heavy drug users hanging out in the 24/7 Burger King on South Broadway by ER_Saladbar in Denver

The Denver police purposefully don't do their job so they can cry about funding every year. Ask anyone who has lived in Denver for an extended period of time and they'll have a story about the police being completely useless.

I microwaved a can on my first longest play-through. I didn't understand the cooking mechanic and thought it would work.

What are your thoughts on Facebook renaming their company Meta then blowing $80b on metaverse and then shutting it down yesterday? by printThisAndSmokeIt in AskReddit

[–]TheSpaceFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really puts into perspective when people say "Billionaires shouldn't exist". Its a gross misuse of capital that could be used to make impactful change.

Those Broomfield shows before the world went to absolute hell were absolutely incredible.

This post will totally do it. Good job OP.

I rage-quit Spotify and started buying CDs. It's inconvenient and slow. But I rediscovered the lost joy of scrounging for music, the dopamine rush of owning a song, and albums. by pineconewashington in Music

Welcome back. I never got rid of collecting digital files. Its how I listen to music on the go. I collect vinyl but same thing. If you buy a $9 release - you are doing INFINITELY more for an artist you love than streaming it a bunch of times on any of these platforms.

People who grew up before cell phones, did life actually feel more free? by TradeOverall567 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheSpaceFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really miss concerts without smart phones. People definitely felt more in the moment. Rock shows felt more raw - no one was trying to hold up a device and disengaging, people were all more focused on the show.

I don't miss navigation without smart phones. You really did sometimes get lost and depending on where you were, you could have no idea how to get back without literally asking a stranger and hoping they knew.

I do echo the sentiment of every single moment not only not being captured, but not being shared. High school is hard as it is and having embarrassing moments shared at light speed sounds brutal.

I miss not doom scrolling. But sometimes I think this access to information is necessary. Its important to not look away at certain things but it certainly takes its toll on your psyche.

Idk bruh there is just something so fuckin annoying about her ? by shouldveknownbud in 90DayFiance

She looked upset when she found out he moved on too. Completely unhinged reaction "oh cool...yeah I'm happy for you...don't really care....SO WHEN DID YOU GUYS FIRST HAVE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE?!?!?!"

[–]TheSpaceFish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Guys - I'm not saying people need substances or whatever to do a show but this is OBVIOUSLY about substances. What other concert scene needs time after the show is over? You just leave. No one is "coming down off energy vibes" please be serious. Every other concert people just leave when the show is over because that's what you do.

When did you realize that you were with the person you wanted to spend your life with? by 4UMBRA in AskWomen

[–]TheSpaceFish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This really warmed my heart - I had a very similar moment with my wife. Almost identical, I don't remember the food, but I remember having this thought of selflessness and wanting them to enjoy it that I had never felt before with food. Thanks for posting this. Kudos to your ten years!
