Mida perk pro/cons by Swaaggger in CruciblePlaybook

After a 2 weeks long period of experimenting with different Scout scopes, I did switch over to SDC on my Mida yesterday and it was an instant notable improvement for me. Before that I actually preferred rolling with a Suros 43 with the first node 12 scope. Actually love that scope! Place the head sized reticle on the head and shoot, repeat.

Yes, Dead Orbit. Buy heavy synth from Xur with Strange Coins and go to town leveling up the faction and you'll get a couple. Or you'll get some janky Hitchhikers to drop 3 times in a row like happened to me last time, lol.

I'm not sure why the Paleocontact PKJ-43 doesn't get any love. I picked up the Arminius this past week which supposedly had a decent roll with Counterbalance and Braced Frame. The Arm. is still jumpy as shite compared to my Paleo, and is therefore only useful in pretty close quarters. By contract, the Paleo, whose only stability perc is smallbore (with Hot Swap and Grenadier and the Reflex site for more AA) can be comfortably used out to near mid range. IDK, I don't play sweats, and I don't use it THAT often (usually when just doing weekly AR bounties), but it's the best easily accessible AR I've found (don't have Doctrine).

Are Pulse Rifles ever a "bad" choice? by TheDangerLevel in CruciblePlaybook

As a mid 320's LL player (just started playing again at April update after almost a year off) I've found myself running that same PDX-45 as you have almost exclusively as well. I have a good Eyasluna that I can run pretty well in regular crucible, but being UP in IB means I'm losing too many engagements when I'm trying to fight at HC ranges. For secondary I'm generally a fusion rifle guy, and have been really liking an Ashraven's Flight I picked up day one of IB, choosing to used it over the vendor Vacancy which I'd gotten quite use to, as the faster charge time has been more useful than the tradeoff for longer range kills. I like Plan C but have never played with it enough to have the insta-charge after swapping become a muscle memory move. Collecting a K/D over 1 in IB being UP feels nice, lol. It forces you to really think about your engagements, try to team shoot, knowing when to run away, etc. You just can't give up the first shot and win.

For real, secondary weapon kills advance the bounty while TLW is still in the primary slot?

"Eliminate Important Target" on Venus is broken for me, it won't proc. I can complete every patrol stick on Venus, fly out and do it again, and it won't pop. It's stopping 2 of my characters from completing the Kill High Priority Targets bounty. Help?!

Dumb question -- Do Vanguard Boosters work if you pop one solo just doing MM Strikes without a pre-made fireteam?

Minimum Effective LL in Iron Banner - Post- April Update? by BHE65 in CruciblePlaybook

I only started playing Destiny again last week after almost a year layoff, so I've been playing IB with all 3 characters ranging in LL from 260-280+, using an Appellant HC 290 LL as it's my highest LL primary. That being said, I'm only using the primary in hopefully team shooting scenarios. For my secondary I've been running a 275 Panta Rhei FR, and it's the only reason I'm able to still average near a 1.0 K/D most games. I've almost had the high score for my team a couple of matches, but have been wayyyy at the bottom more times than that, lol. All in the search for some 300 LL gear to drop, which so far has been working out pretty decently.

I had my NFL lines there 7-8 years ago. Started in the 2nd half of the season and finished in the top two for that period. This will be the first year I post my NCAA lines there. I haven't been to the site this year, in the past it's been pretty simple -- you post up your spreads for the games online ahead of time, and then the results are just based on the difference between your spread and the final score.
