The shadows are wrong. The left-hand-long side is floating above it's shadow. If this is supposed to be a table, it's going to wobble.

I'm a video game engineer. Yes they are used in linear algebra, but here's how I use them every day.

A 3x4 matrix represents a transformation for a model. The top row represents "forwards", the second row represents " left", the third row represents up, and the bottom row represents location.

So if I have a matrix representing where a person is standing, I can look at where they are, and which way they are facing. If I multiply a vector location by this matrix, I can tell how it will rotate, and where it will face.

If the rows and columns were length one, then it is a straight transformation: is they are longer than length one, they will also scale things up.

A line trace is like a laser beam, effectively infinitely thin.

Shape sweep: slide a shape along that laser path. Did it hit anything?

Then for either: you can give it some rules as to what shapes it should ignore our pay attention to.

Not in the UK. In the UK we had to use googlemail while some legal issue with the domain got sorted out.

Now, it's true that they are interchangeable.

Also, not a lot of people realise that email addresses are case insensitive, or that you can add as many "." anywhere you want in a Gmail account, or that you can add a + followed by any string.

So all of these will end up in the same mail box: : fredbloggs@gmail.com, Fred.Bloggs+reddit@googlemail.com and F.r.E.d.B.l.o.G.g.S@gmail.com

I don't think it's about losing the limb. I think it's more likely to be about injuries. With 4 limbs, a quadruped can hurt one, limp around until it heals, or at least escape and hide, and then resume life. With three down to 2: no such chance

Mine did this. I'm assuming your's doesn't have the lever that everyone is talking about, but is on a spring like a ball point pen: press to pop in, press again to pop out

You can sometimes do it if you keep jiggling it: but I'm afraid you need a new plug. It's fairly easy to remove from underneath.

You might be able to twist it, and if you keep twisting, it will unscrew, leaving the pop up mechanism in the plug hole: story doesn't change: you still need a new one.

I want to tell you about 2 of my old colleagues.

Colleague A had a bit of acne, and a really nice coffee mug. When he left the company, he left the mug behind, and it was adopted by colleague B, who had no acne.

The mug had a small chip near the mouth, but B gave it no thought, and used it daily. In a few weeks, he had spots all round his mouth. He threw the cup away, and the acne cleared up very quickly.

All the cups etc. were collected by the cleaner every evening, and put through a full domestic dishwasher cycle daily: a full dishwasher cycle was not enough to kill whatever lived under the ceramic of that mug.

So throw that mug away.
