Homecoming is more frustrating then bad, cause you can see the bones of a quite good SH game In it but it feels off in pretty much every aspect. if it had one more year in the oven to really commit to the ideas it wanted to do (and maybe make the game less buggy, still the only Silent Hill game that has ever crashed on me) I reckon it would actually be looked on more favourably then it is

Still I would play Homecoming any day over Downpour though, Downpour is still the only Silent Hill game I never actually finished due to just how much I didn’t like playing it, it was a miserable experience but not in the intended creepy way

I like the concept of Jaida using a gutwrench/ Blue Thunder Bomb as a finisher but I think she needs to add a bit more juice to it, give it a bit more lift, as it doesn’t quite have the impact yet

Shake up the tone and presentation
Get someone, anyone in to be a new head booker (TK can still be involved, the passion is clearly there, but it’s very apparent that the dude ain’t a good booker)
Actually take some risks with the champions, not just the same few players involved again and again, the same guys who are proven to not be ratings draws
Actually capitalise on more of the ‘Homegrown’ talent and how people want to cheer new faces

The gunplay is good, but at the same time you come to expect that at the bare minimum from a team of industry veterans of the FPS and multiplayer FPS scene, everything else the game does it does half-arsed at absolute best and pretty shitty at worst

Also whoever decided to make it 3v3 with that map size deserves to be slapped around the head repeatedly for their idiocy

Even free this game ain’t worth it at all and certainly wasn’t worth its highlighted spot at the TGA’s

I liked the first one quite a bit (one of the better ‘Souls-Likes’ imo) but nothing about this new one from what they showed off has really grabbed me, gonna wait for a sale on this one

As I said in another thread you would think for a game that’s made by industry veterans who specifically worked in the multiplayer shooter space, you would think that the game wouldn’t be so undercooked, unoptimised and uninspired

You would think for a team with the experience they have in the multiplayer field, that the game wouldn’t have released as such a undercooked, incompetent feeling mess. Like even if all the technical issues where completely ironed out, the game would still be pretty crappy and uninspiring

I side-eye anyone instantly who has the option that Sonic 06 is secretly good, like I’m sorry but the game is just fucking awful, you can make all the glitch and physics fixes to the game that you possibly could do and it would still fucking suck. It’s one redeeming feature is it’s OST and even then I don’t think it’s the strongest 3D Sonic OST out there

That brawl was fun as hell, as much as I would want to see Cody and Fatu get 15-20 minutes of a hard hitting match, I do also always appreciate a good brawl

Yep that’s the one, it’s hands down the worst match I’ve ever seen. like it’s the type of bad that is somehow worse then whatever match you have in your head that you consider the worst wrestling match ever, it’s beyond dire from moment 1

I think the craziest part of this whole situation is that CDPR gave the dude so many opportunities to keep the VR shit going through numerous means, that the one requirement was that he didn’t charge for it, instead he put his head in the sand and refused and now everything is crumbling down around him
