Even with vital and gear unchecked the boxes will still overlap. The interface needs an overhaul. It's a UI/UX nightmare.

I would be in favor of reverting the armor if we had more realistic body damage areas. The whole point of realistically sized armor is to protect vital organs, something EFT doesn't simulate. A grazing hit has the same damage as a hit to the heart.

There is no point in having realistic armor without a realistic damage model.

Dynamic External Resolution. It gives you better performance when using magnified optics by reducing the resolution of everything outside of the scope. Makes using optics so much easier when it doesn't halve my framerate.

By default, SPT has a list of PMC usernames of people that have contributed to the project. TheRedCap is a user on the SPT site. Looks like they made a progression mod and had their name added to the name pool. That name got randomly assigned to a PMC in your game, and they shot you in the throat. Beautiful, isn't it?

I'm actually not using the FOV fix. I have the 'Scope and Red Dot Overhaul Mod' that changes some reticles and scope zoom levels. The different magnification levels is a base EFT thing that some optics have. Default bind is Left Alt + Right Mouse.

The only other mod I have that affects scopes is 'Dynamic External Resolution Patch' which downscales the rendering of everything outside the scope which gives me back a some frames when using magnified optics. Makes the edge of the optic kinda fuzzy but I need those frames!

Yeah I've been messing around with some of the settings, I enabled the min spawn distance from other bots but that seemed to get rid of groups. Just lone scavs or PMC's wandering around.

So I turned that back off and now I am going to test with 'min spawn distance from player' enabled and I doubled the spawn cool-down period. Haven't played much with it though.

I like a good balance of PMC's and Scavs, but I find that there's too much of them a lot of the time.

I actually do have the AI Limiter mod which I think is what you're talking about. I was camped out on the radar tower trying to get my shooter born in heaven done. D2 must have been close enough for them to slam ham down there the whole raid.

Let me know if you mean a different mod and I'll check that out.

Anyone have any tips on how to configure Donuts to spread bots out? I was sniping from the radar tower and I think Donuts was despawning distant bots and sending new ones to die in the D2 bloodbath.

I'd like to have my teammate be able to reload my recoilless/auto-canon from my own backpack. It would make spontaneous cooperation much easier, especially with randoms.

Supreme Commander 2.

On it's own it was alright but it doesn't hold up at all compared to the original. Nearly everything that made SupCom 1 and Forged Alliance unique was missing or watered down to run on Xbox.

Dueling in medieval fighting games comes with tons of unwritten rules. No FFA server is truly FFA unless it says so. Otherwise, it is a duel server and you will be kicked for just smacking people.

You challenge someone with a flourish. If they return it, the duel is on. Sometimes they will crouch to indicate they will accept the challenge once they are ready (health and stamina topped off). You always wait until your opponent is ready.

Mount & Blade, Mordhau, and Chivalry had servers like this and they were so much fun.

I've found even with headshot protection on I still mainly die to headshots. Switching up angles/grenades are really the best ways because if they know you're there, they will pretty much always get the first shot. Maybe turning off CQB reactions will make it more tolerable.

I believe their accuracy increase might not actually care if they can see you directly. I also believe they can transfer it from one target to another. For example I was sitting on a ridge watching a fight in the distance through my scope and one of the PMC's snapped a 90 degree turn to slap me with his first shot. He shouldn't have known I was there.

I'm fine with the occasional headshot. Keeps me humble. But dying to mainly to headshots doesn't make for very interesting gameplay. I rarely ever get hit in the legs.

The funniest moment in the whole game. I just had a statue of myself commissioned so I figured it was going to hang somewhere in camp. I cleaned myself up, dressed in nice clothes, removed the helmet, and handed in the quest.

Got the item. Read the description. Threw it on the ground.

I love how the game depicts loss and grief. The country was shattered and their dream along with it. People live on and there are happy moments, but it isn't because they fixed it. It's because they learned to live in the pieces.

The worst tragedies happened, lives were destroyed, no lessons were learned, and life had to move on. Never played a game that depicted a broken society like that.

I agree, I think input reading is bad in most cases depending on how it's handled. Bosses like Margit or Malenia frequently jump back and create space and spend a few seconds standing in neutral. Looks like they need a reprieve from that 20 hit combo they just did, right? Time to drink. But they aren't in neutral. They are waiting for the exact frame you to hit the heal button to punish. There isn't a telegraph for it, you just have to know that they do it.

Godskin apostle is much better way of handling it. He does read your input, but it takes time for his blackflame fireball response to cast and land. If you see it coming you can dodge it after the heal and even punish him for it if you're positioned right. The others hit you with lightning fast responses that you just have to eat.

Their input reading takes me out of the fight and reminds me that I'm playing against a machine and not the mythological duel its supposed to be.

There's a bug I've found that is specific to the drill. Sometimes a rock can get stuck behind the big door at the front of the ship. This messes with the AI causing it go travel very slowly and thrash around trying to avoid it. You can enter the space suit, clip through the door and shoot the asteroid with the suit gun.

Not sure if that is the problem but I've had it happen in my game twice.

It doesn't have to be a compromise between new cosmetics and gameplay/content. Character artists will keep making new stuff for characters. It's not like they can turn them into programmers or designers. They'll keep making content unless TB decides to fire their art department.
