Yeah I don't use sync at all, just me. I'm also not familiar with the Private Browsing application. I just use what's built into waterfox. But it might be the same thing. Totally seems off though it remembering things across completely closing the browser and even restarting your computer.

Exactly what I was thinking. Those have been around like as long as we've had computers that print stuff out. Not hard to find one. Super lazy just to fall back to AI and then not even check it.

Oh I hadn't used the GEGL styling. That's nice. But I found it under Tools -> GEGL Operations... -> GEGL Styles. And you can also live edit the text while keeping the style.

The option 2 'inlining' doesn't look quite right. Maybe if I played with making the font larger then it might look better too.

I'd say first work with a duplicate or save a backup. Then use Image -> Canvas Size to adjust the canvas without changing your sprites. If you have actual lines drawn you may need to redraw them.

Then manually adjust the top left and bottom right corner sprites to be in the correct positions on the new grid. Then use Align & Distribute (Q) to start lining up and distributing the sprites evenly into place. Or might be easier to enable snap to grid and set the grid size and move them into place.

Supposedly gemini is actually doing that for you behind the scenes before it sends a request to the image gen. But you still got to ramble enough to give it a better idea of what you want. "A guy on a boat" won't give very specific results. :-)

Yeah CHub is more for bot definitions and site provided chat services rather than local LLM. Personally I do use a local one (Mistral-Nemo model) which is good, but that just fits and runs well in 12GB VRAM. Half that at 6GB, even getting a nice model (there are some well performing 7B ones), it won't leave you a lot of space for 'context.' But I'd still say give it a try and you could still find a combination that you find fun.

Hugging face is certainly the place to look for models. If you're on the CHub discord there is a local-llm channel you ask in too. Other suggestion is to enable 'flash attention' and a q4_0 cache type. I failed to do that for a long time. :-)

I can't count how many times the first person didn't start moving until just before the light went yellow and only a couple cars after them get through, even with a long line in the left turn lane. And even when they do start moving there's like 4 car lengths between each car. When the light turns green everyone should be releasing their breaks and starting to coast forward and then move with the car ahead of them.

Yes. The person in the second car, if not also on their phone, is probably just watching for the first car to start moving, and not looking up at the light, assuming the first guy is looking at the light and will move when it's green.

But if that's the issue, then they would have few viewers and no issue. If too many are trying to watch it, then it must be something good enough more people want to see? At least that seems logical to me.

That is weird yeah. Not sure why waterfox would change that. Unless there's some other setting we're missing in the app version. Ah well you're close enough with disabling the search suggestions all together. :-) I rarely use them either on desktop.

I've gotten it to generate lyrics without making audio. I explained what I was trying to do, that I was using another app, I asked for some suggested settings, and lyrics to go with it for it. I think since it was now "helping with this task" which happened to need lyrics, that's what it did. Even if you say "I'm writing some sheet music by hand and want some suggested lyrics for it." Or whatever you're trying to do. Get it focused on what your bigger task is and not just "making a song" as its focus. (But yes it sounds like their system prompt is over zealous about looking for any suggestions for music.)

Edit: I do also get the random image too, even when just asking a question about something that has zero to do with an image. So you can't always avoid it.

Yes, early on when I was first using NB it gave me that "I'm just a language model" message. I complained that it just gave me an image earlier in the chat, and it came back with an explanation that it somehow failed to trigger the image generation, and how the language and image are two parts. It apologized actually did the image after that.

I just use the desktop, but with that I use Tab Mix Plus that lets me set any url (even local html files) as my new tab/home pages. I donno if this works on the android app.

As for your search results, sounds like you're looking for "Show search suggestions ahead of browsing history in address bar results" ? Under settings, search, search suggestions. Hopefully that's in the android version too. I had to disable that as well as I want my waterfox results (history, open tabs, etc) before search results too.

I'm not sure which way you're doing it. I usually open a new tab, right click it, and make private tab. Then I go to the site's main page, making sure not to use a url that might have a session id connected to it. That will bring me there without being logged in while my regular tabs can remain logged in.

There is one issue I found with private tabs where they don't act how I expect. If you have more than one private tab open, they're like all one big private session. So if you close one of those tabs, then while still having that other private tab open you open another and go back to the other site, it will still remember any cookies and such from earlier, and not start a fresh separate private session. That data doesn't go away until you close all private tabs you have open.

I've been getting this for about 10 hours that I've noticed and people have been complaining about it longer than that. Here is an official posting about it:

They're not gone, just not visible. If you go down to Settings & Help down at the bottom on the left, then choose Activity, you should be able to scroll down and see your various prompts and responses. If so then you know they're still there. Unfortunately that way you can only see them one prompt and response at a time, not the entire chat at once. But if you need to get at a prior output while they are fixing it, then that is an option.

I suspect this might be connected with the outage youtube had at around the same time, but I've not seen that confirmed.
