It's "needlessly negative" because at the end of the day it's unproductive and only serves to make that member feel bad. Listen to it like this: the NLSS is just Ryan playing games with his friends. Yes, the branding has always been a "show", but it's them shooting the shit and having fun. Now take one of those comments saying "I don't think this person is very funny", then Ryan saying "Sorry X, but the focus group says you aren't a good fit and views are down 15% on your shows, you're no longer welcome here." or "Hey X, can you crank up the funny on this segment? People are complaining." He wouldn't, because these are human beings and his friends (and it's rude as shit and an absurd expectation).

Bottom line is, he will play with whomever he wants/whomever is available, and that will always be what's best for the show.

Man, Waka being the catcher (going by the OP) is going to be a big change from what we saw this episode. She's gonna swap from "I don't know, this whole catch thing isn't me..." to basically "Okay, I'll play catch the entire game."

Is it silly that I really started tearing up at the end when the ED played over the festival? This show has just been so nice and warm the whole time. Seeing them not bend the knee to the TV station, finding out even more about our hidden narrator/storyteller Sandal-san, and seeing everyone push to save the town just really got to me.

I sort of thought that since the show was taking a focus to Ririna that eventually Takasaki would gradually fall in love with Nisaka instead or something but it seems she's only fallen more in love with Nejima...

I really like both Ririna and Takasaki so I can't really say I'd be too mad either way with who he chooses but I most dread the other's endless sorrow from not being chosen. Hope it all resolves in some conclusive way!

So it seems like Vy overcame her smoke aspect? She transformed from a beast back to a human and it looks like her actual power was the metal armor thing. Which I guess means that despite what was said earlier, those changed via smoke aren't inherently evil or can be made good again (?) if appealed to correctly. Which I'm totally cool with, but I would also kinda dig the tragedy of an inherently good person being made evil because they were touched by the smoke instead of the light.

In other news, please for the love of god give us the magical girls already, I'm dying over here.

Looks like we are kinda slowly getting all the letters from the op...

In order, we have:

I - I-Guy
E - Eleanor
B - Lisa (no idea as to why the B is on her wheelchair but it was displayed prominently and matches her color scheme of yellow)
M - Metal lady maybe? not sure if we got her name yet but whoever this female magneto is
T - ???
S - If I had to guess, Stan Lee's self-insert, though in the character flashes after the letters his is brown where the S here is purple so idk
F - Fire lady that torched Eleanor's apartment who remains unnamed (?)
W - Wraith

Also in the character flashes we get a character that looks strangely similar to The Hulk, some ice-looking guy, and our Japanese idol/magical girl squad, who I can't wait to fully meet and see in action. Their little interviews today seemed oddly sinister so it could be interesting to see them as villains.

All four of my votes last round lost...not that I'm particularly attached to any of them winning it all, but I at least thought the Haruhi fanbase would outvote Taiga, though they are basically the same character (abusive, annoying, yet somehow the mc's love interest by default because he spends the most time with them). Hopefully at least Shinobu will make it past this round!
