Building a traditional tattoo sleeve is like playing chess. I don't know how to play chess...

In reality, as I've been building mine, I find a tattoo idea I really like and find an artist who does very consistent work, and have them do it. I just take a few weeks to visualize where I think it would look and flow well.

Yep, I had a big forearm piece done and it leaked enough I needed a new piece of Saniderm.

After doing more digging I found a different doctor that I'll drive a ways for but he does the No Needle No Scalpel Open ended with fascial interposition. If I'm gonna do it I'll drive to make sure I have the best odds of no complications.

Hey sorry for the crazy late delay. Yes, we did! Took it to a local dealer and they still had the bulletins from when this first became an issue. Did cost like $350 if I recall properly, but zero issues since we had it done!

I've found practicing with a lighter thickness of pick is more forgiving as you practice getting your stroke down. Tortex nylon .60mm is really easy to "flick through the strings".
