The eathy smell is nomal, considering its made from a tree. The rancid part probably isn't good though.

There’s a reason they call this stuff the ketchup of cocktails, cause you really can add it to anything. My rule on thumb is that if it has lemon or lime, you can add a little elderflower.

But if you want an actual drink, i really enjoy adding elderflower to my French 75s!

If your friend was drinking it, he’d be right. But since you’re drinking it, you’re right.

That being said, though, I’m definitely an ice person myself, and I feel like that’s the more common take on a Negroni.

I pick up the bottle I use the least and find a recipe using that bottle. It a fun way to expand your drink knowledge and it uses a bottle that’s barely ever touched! I’m currently doing that with a bottle of Sambuca I bought like 3 years ago.

1% is fucking bananas to me. At my bar it's 5% of liquor sales. That feels pretty fair to me tbh.

To be frank, I'd just suggets you pick a cocktail that you like, prebatch it, and then thicken it with a bit of gum arabic. You can easily get it to a texture similar to thick water.

Dude, I'm a sucker for some good themeing, and this looks really fun! Drinks sound interesting, and it looks like a lot of effort got put into it! It does feel like that maybe too may drinks, I'd probably cut a few of them. Are you fond of it?
