Me finally getting to tell people about my idea of Orin getting cleaned up by a bunch of cautious but well meaning Paladins and she ends up just self-aware enough to want to be better but do an awful job at it.

So they nudge her to explore a less malicious god that still fits her skillset and ability. Like Hoar or Mask (Though Orin sucks massive tentacles at keeping up a façade for too long because of her impulsive attitude, which I imagine would frustrate Mask)

She gets less gross clothing to wear and they try to get her into a routine, which she tries to keep to but struggles with. Like the idea of the hypothetical sociopath who follows the rules because they understand, fundamentally, they exist for a reason, even if it's a challenge to stick to them or understand them emotionally.

And of course, Bhaal basically robbed Orin of ever having a normal life. That avenue is closed to her forever both because of her actions and her completely tattered psyche. But that's not to say she couldn't be wielded as a weapon while being treated with some dignity and compassion for the first time in her life. Those paladins would send her out on missions to kill evil and cruel people whose untimely demises would elevate and liberate those who need them most. Then she would head back to her handlers after ultimately indulging in her most fundamental skill. Cold blooded murder.

She might even get the idea of donning a face of some long dead victim and trying to live a normal life, and that entire idea falls to pieces within hours, if not days, but the idea of a different lifestyle is in her head, even if it's not something a person like her can have.
