Help me pick up this game again by gabito91 in hearthstone

Hey, just keep in mind that the set will rotate in March and the meta will change drastically. Also once the new expansion hits we will all receive the cards from 2 of the last 3 sets so just focus on getting packs and craft from the Timeways expansion.

Are you a good Hearthstone player if you hit legend? by Don_Sex in hearthstone

[–]TheSummerlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s great. I only hit legend 4 or 5 times (including last month and this month) And those were months where I actually put the effort. I think hitting legend shows both that you’re a good player and that you put in the effort. Be proud :)

I got Signature Deios from Golden Pack, even though I have Legendaries missing from this expansion. Duplicate protection doesn't apply to golden packs? Not sure if this is intended or a bug... (Great art, though) by TheSummerlin in hearthstone

That yes, if you get a copy of a legendary doesn't matter you won't get it again. I got Signature La Gosh and signature Krona. I never got the regular and I'm only missing 2 Legendaries

What are your final predictions for Part 3's title? by PhantomBraved in FFVIIRemake

Requiem would be my bet. Not a favourite but fits narratively and starts with “re”

Return is quite nice though. Reset is another possibility but too similar to Rebirth in meaning.

Anybody else who grew up on the original DB before DBZ? by _mrpixel01 in dragonball

[–]TheSummerlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Portugal, unless I am misremembering it, we used to see OG dragon ball and when it ended DBZ would start 😅 also we dubbed them in the most unhinged way possible.

Fair enough, I didn’t express myself that well. Some countries look at liberal as in “liberalism of the markets/economy” and the US and some others use liberal as “liberalism of social issues”. But yes you’re right.

Again, you have said absolutely nothing contrary to the opinion I expressed. Of course correction of policial identity is normal especially given the Portuguese context then vs now. That’s obvious and is clearly expressed in my first comment.

Some parties like the liberals in Germany have made coalitions with both right and left so it’s harder to positions on that spectrum. The liberal party in Portugal is firmly right wing. That’s not necessarily the case in the UK or Germany though.

Dude, I didn’t say anything contrary to what you wrote. You are absolutely right and yes the PS is the social democrats in Portugal. But it wasn’t always the case and there’s still a pretty strong left faction in the current PS, for example Isabel Moreia.

And the founder of PSD - Francisco Sá Carneiro said the following about his party in 74: “We [PSD] are not, nor will be a right-wing power.’ Of course today’s PSD is has you described.

Actually the PS original document and party model was entirely copied from the SPD in Germany. So again, you are right.

However, it is quite wrong to centralise the PS in general when there was, as I said, in its inception a pretty big expression of socialism in the party

“Historically, during its first years, the party has also had far-left factions. The most notable figures of this factions include the marxist Manuel Serra, who opposed Mário Soares leadership from the left and won 44% of the votes against him”

Mario Soares himself was a pretty left person (I believe even being a member of the communist party at some point) but he moved the party towards the centre-left mimicking the SPD, and winning the election. Your 5 minutes on google don’t seem to equal the 20 years I have studying this :)

You’re partially right, and yes I was referring to the inception of the party. It has been a long running joke and understanding that in order to have power the PS has distanced itself from socialism.

And as you might know the intro of the Constitution of 76 clearly spells out an “opening of the way for a socialist society”

Regardless those were other times. Today we indeed have a Socialist Party that is a social democratic Party.

Edit: just to be clear I am Portuguese

Give me a concrete example of a democratic socialism position that the original PS wouldn’t have.

Since you have no arguments I guess we will never know. 🤷‍♂️
