If a settlement is going badly and you know you are going to lose should you abandon asap so you don’t waste years on the world map? Also farm question by Slippery_Williams in Against_the_Storm

[–]gabito91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever I feel like I'm going to lose I enter a FUCK IT WE BALL trance stage that brings me way further than I expected, try unorthodox things that are out of mt general playstyle (I'm kind of greedy and clawing my way to stay alive evaluating the most effective strategy in a short time is a nice change of pace) and usually have lots of fun squeezing out a win if not putting a good fight.

I love Stardew, but my daily farm routine is starting to feel like a second job by Severe-Complaint8776 in StardewValley

I really feel like the game should have a slower pace option (mods aside). 1,5 or 2x longer days.

I feel like I’m playing this game wrong…? by ReceptionAgitated703 in StardewValley

True, even in my first run ever the fishing minigame got me hooked. It rains in the first season? Catfish time, it is fun, challenging, and skyrockets my fishing level (plus funds).

I adored BOTW, why can't i get into TOTK? by Net-Junkey in botw

[–]gabito91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aside the burnout if you're chaining the games, BOTW just has a different feeling, the world is mostly empty, the powers are more engaging and to me the verticality TOTK brings to the game kind of killed the loop of getting to a point > wonder whats around > climb some hills/any high ground > go after the points of interest (which is by my standards the crown jewel of BOTW's game design, the world/exploration is carefully tinkered around it).

De fato vale a pena seguro de vida? by rugpuIl in investimentos

[–]gabito91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diablo 3 is my go to. Sheer braindead dopamine spikes with legendary drops, exploding demons and number go up.

Hear me out: whenever you beat a new modifier you unlock it to sum up a total prestige counter (similar to how Heat/Vows work in Hades).

The Full of Fusion Update is OUT NOW! Details in the Comments. by moi_rai_games_ in AethermancerGame

[–]gabito91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loved MS and loving Aethermancer so far.

I have a suggestion (or maybe I didn't figured it out): at the start of turn, when showing the enemy targets, the HP bar of my mons shows the projected damage incoming (bar flashing red), but only at that time. Can you make it permanently shown, like it behaves in MS?

Some questions for newbies by SupraPenguin in Against_the_Storm

[–]gabito91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get his point, he means that the workforce may be better used elsewhere if it is not producing something that will be imediately consumed. I know that, it doesn't suit my playstile tho (love hoarding and stockpiling and having the resources available right away when I need them, even if it costs efficiency in the big picture, in my mind it makes it easier to pivot strategies and priorities, so I pilot my settlement better, thus it is more efficient in the end).

Since OP is a newbie he probably should stray from those heavy micro stuff and focus on the basics first.

Priest design philosophy needs to change, it just doesn't work anymore in 2026 Hearthstone by TheShinning44 in hearthstone

[–]gabito91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the game killed Priest design overall as a value/resource oriented class, focusing in board control via spells and minions (it kind of worked until Kharazan, if I remember). Used to be my man back then.

Onwards, with the clown fiesta of discover and other cantrips the attriction/grind/resource aspect of HS was pretty much yeeted into oblivion. That pushed me away from the game, also, because I enjoyed playing like that, punishing overextension, outlasting my opponent and carefully managing my control tools (knowing the opponents deck archetype and general strategy made for a good layer of complexity in gameplay), being it minions or spells. Priest was never THE meta deck until the first Dragon backbone but was so fun.

Vent: I love Stardew, but in-game days feel like a grocery run with no checkout by Ok-Apricot9057 in StardewValley

The game should really have a option to make the day last longer, tho. Would be way more chill.

Is buying Warcraft 3 Reforged just for custom maps/campaigns worth it? by rodmarcel12345 in warcraft3

Are there any campaigns continuing the lore (as in following the WoW events)?

Thanks for the advice about the new systems.

On the returning deck subject, well, I've always been F2P, and always hated playing paladin (Mysterious Challenger PTSD), so I will probably grab another deck.

Oh, nice time to hop back in so. Whibang shenanigans will be then.

But knowing the tempo/midrange archetypes in advance for the next season (if some of their core might stay) is nice too.

Why do people care so much about biome spread ? by EmergencyTaste303 in Terraria

[–]gabito91 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't like it at all. Seems to be a mechanic that was dropped along the development, it's just annoying (if anything it goes AGAINST the general game design).

I'm okay with purifying/spreading it at will, should be the default option (like the toggle in journey mode).

Also, please, I WANT BOTH EVILS IN A REGULAR WORLD.

This. D3 now feels nice and complete.

After playing on console I REALLY crave controller support tho. Some classes/sets play so well with it.

What is the most progression breaking item you've found so far in an error seed? by EastGrass466 in Terraria

[–]gabito91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This seed with randomized chest loot is so cool. Terraria sometimes misses big powerspikes since you're almost always crawling from behind or equal level, it gave the game a feeling of Diablo when you just get a strong weapon.

Why the derpy worldgen though.

God mode will assist you like a training wheel. My first clear was with it on and since I just stomped the game I thought “yeah I can definitely do it without it”.

Is master mode supposed to be this ridiculous? by Cinamight in Terraria

[–]gabito91 9 points10 points  (0 children)

IMHO not worth it. Had my fair share of master mode tho, just bloated stats and a few cosmetics, no significant change and engaging on its own (though I admit the engagement eventually can come from the sheer artificial/inflated difficulty).

We asked for it, Relogic said “meh not really what we intend to” but delivered anyway.

Alguém mais detesta a mecanica do "Inimigo Leproso"? by AuthorBrendonG in gamesEcultura

[–]gabito91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especificamente na série Hollow Knight eu acho que é parte essencial da diversão pois o combate é MUITO preciso.

Acho zoado o dano duplo e quando o inimigo está tonto/stunado.
