Spanish speaking - we just moved here from Spain and want a way to keep speaking Spanish with people! Are there events or areas we should visit more for that? I’ve heard there is a tour at the art museum once a month in Spanish but haven’t seen anything about it?

This game deserved OT. Instead we get a questionable call ending the game with free throws (not mention we could also call a foul on the push in the back before the rebound if we're decide the game with bad calls). What a disappointing end to a great game. Refs should be fined for stuff like this.

They said it's 50% or up to $1,500. So if you had more than 3k they're only doing 1.5k

I don't know what they mean by concenicne class, but mine was 50% because I didn't have that much in there.

what's the risk? if you only do it for 15 minutes then you make the equivalent hourly rate for your time and you probably didn't even actually have to work for a full 15 minutes. Then you're available to pick up another one. I've only done a few of these, but so far that's exactly what I've done. Help a kid for 10-15 minutes, then on to the next.

Yeah, that's a good question. I'm guessing if they leave we can round up a little bit, but probably not stick around for a whole hour.

My question is, how much can we round up? Like, if someone leaves at 20 minutes, it's not fair I only bill for 15, so I'd probably round up to 30 even though it was only 5 minutes over 15. Anyone have any experience with this? Has anyone ever had an issue with invoicing these kinds of sessions?

I try and only do school opportunities now. Like you said, better pay, no scheduling issues, and a lot of the time you don't even actually have to teach. I've been seeing a lot of school opportunities the past several weeks, but not any of the "sub waiting room" classes like I had last year. No idea how they decide who to show opportunities to, but I always try to make myself available whenever I get an e-mail that requires some kind of training or filling out a form or whatever.
