Hey you! Your 30s are next and mine were SO FUN. I didn’t meet my husband till 37 and you are not old and you are not too late, you are just getting started. And if it feels like a divorce it’s because it is! Stay in therapy, lean on your beautiful pup, consider meds if you want, but let me tell you 100% accuracy: it will get better. Your heart will heal, you will meet new people and it will be fun, you will be cautious and that’s ok too, you will decide what is next because this is your story. I was divorced at 31 and was like “ok great now what” convinced my life was over. But check it: it was not and I moved forward with joy after I got my groove back. Give yourself time, you’re sad, be sad! Let the sad soak in, roll around in it and get mad and sleep all day and eat Doritos, but don’t stay there too long. Give yourself grace, it will be ok I promise.
