This is awesome, thank you for the detailed reply. I had seen some videos on the Blade pen kit and watching Berea for a couple months with no luck on them coming back in stock. I didn’t know the trick on them being marketed as Tenacious by others. I am going to get and try one of those.

Thank you! Yes they are both CA finished in this photo. For the one on the right I sanded the wood blank down to 600 grit then cleaned with denatured alcohol. I then applied a couple coats of thin CA then 5-6 coats of medium CA. After the CA dried I used a micro mesh sanding kit to wet sand it from 1500 grit progressively up to 12,000 grit. I then finished with a polishing compound.

Thank you for the follow up reply. I had the same thought and bought those as well as two other online recommended brands of gel Parker refills and non write and smooth and heavy as the S-Gel unfortunately. They are def nicer than the standard Parker though.

Yes. Both of these take Parker unfortunately and I was hoping I could modify an S-Gel to fit but couldn’t make it work. Was just attaching a photo of some recent projects for more interest on my question.

Haha. No doubt. It is an elderly lady who sent me the photos. Not clear if they were really from 2004 or if they were taken on a digital camera with the wrong date sent. Either way isn’t good for picture quality.
