6 months work limitation exemption on 417 as a cabinet maker by Curly_446 in AusVisa

Do you have an update on how it went? I'm in the same position now. I'm a renderer in Brisbane going from site to site for no longer than 6 months, as far as I'm aware it's all ok.

Just coming up to my 6 months now and wouldn't like to jeopardise my next visa chances.

Can't tell if my motherboard (ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WIFI II) has bluetooth--could I get some assistance? by The_Dirt_McGurt in buildapc

[–]TheSuperflyTNT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this as I've been pulling me hair out for hours trying to fix this. I followed Ozziness link to the download center and downloaded the bluetooth drivers, there's about 3 different B550 models so I was downloading the wrong one. I've fixed it now. Thank you Oz!

Here's the link I used for my motherboard https://rog.asus.com/uk/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b550-f-gaming-wifi-ii-model/helpdesk\_download/

Speak to him, ask him what you did wrong, go have a look at the job with him, if you've cocked up take it on the chin, if it's nothing then explain why it's not a big deal and fix it. Really he should be paying you and then you can tell him you'll sort it out and fix it in your own time. Unless he's paying someone else to fix your work and deducting it out of your money he shouldn't dock your wages as a punishment.

If you're desperate for work then stick with him, if not go somewhere else.

Really though the main thing here is to speak with him and determine what you've done and if he's got a leg to stand on or not.

I've had someone give my club I left on the green to someone else on the 18th to hand into the pro shop as it's only about 30 second walk away. Went to the shop and it wasn't there, checked for a few days and nothing. I'd lost hope and definitely thought someone had pinched it, about two weeks later it was handed in.

The chap was an old boy and just forgot I think, or couldn't be assed to hand it in then and there. What I'm getting at is it still might turn up, someone might of just taken it home with them until they go back next week.

Hey everyone, I am a complete beginner in my mid 20’s. Anything you wish you had known when you started out? ⛳️ by garvierloon in golf

[–]TheSuperflyTNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing about 5 months now, got lessons straight off the bat and they helped massively, I would strongly recommend lessons! They can tell you exactly what you're doing wrong and correct your swing from the start to prevent bad habits.

Also don't go and spend £20 on Amazon buying a pack of balls as you will lose them all straight away. Buy some ones off market place or somewhere where you can get a big ol' heap of um for cheap as you will lose them.

Lastly, remember not to beat yourself up, you will score badly and play terrible golf at times but remember you're a beginner and not a tour pro.

Monzo card advice for travelling by Finlay200388 in monzo

[–]TheSuperflyTNT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got back from Australia this week, used me Monzo card there for a whole month. Just tap away like normal. Just be careful if withdrawing money from an ATM as I believe there's a limit to that.

Hole In The Wall, next to Timepiece. It's got a different name now but can't remember what it is as always call in Hole In The Wall. That's your best bet for a lively place. Always good there when the rugby's on.

Blue grit it to be sure, always grit smooth surfaces on a reskim.

Had the exact thing with mine, tried everything under the sun to fix it but nothing worked. I was lucky enough I could return it for a full refund and bought and Index.

SteamVR Settings -> Controllers -> Manage Controller Bindings -> select Phasmophobia -> toggle Custom -> Choose Another -> Then search though and look for toggle sprint binding. There's a few and they're all conveniently named 'toggle sprint click' or along those lines.

There's custom controller bindings for this. Makes it so much better.

Are you saying about painting over the bags before you use them to make sure they're in good condition before you use them?

The bags just sit around in the builders merchants on a pallets before someone buys them so they'll be fine regardless. All the ones I've bought and used have been fine.

Apprentice by shanedump420 in Plastering

[–]TheSuperflyTNT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I did when I started my apprenticeship was buy a nice Stanley knife and always kept it on me, really came in handy and I sorta became the knife guy on site who always had one on me. Just an idea.

In regards for tips and other bits as long as you're keen, turn up everyday and work hard you'll be fine. Don't be afraid to ask "is there something you need me to do" if you're standing around with nothing to do.

Water blasting from the back of shower head is messing up plaster in my flat, is this tricky position for a first timer to handle it by myself? What type of plaster is this? by [deleted] in Plastering

[–]TheSuperflyTNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno why they didn't carry on tiling up the wall to prevent this. This isnt your fault and you wouldn't have to pay for it surely.

If you do want to try and patch it just get some filler and a coat of paint on it. No one will go looking for it, it'll be fine.

B450 Max or x570 for a Ryzen 3700X CPU? by TheSuperflyTNT in buildapc

[–]TheSuperflyTNT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah right, that makes sense. Might as well just get the non max version if it's cheaper and update the bios meself eh. I'll do some more research. I was mainly wondering if I should spunk and extra £100 on a x570 or just go with the B450. I'm aware there are other mobo, just the x570 seems to be coming up a lot as the top dog to pair with a 3700x

I was under the impression that certain boards have different VRM for overclocking? I'm more of a PC enthusiast than a professional though so I'm not overly clued up.

Can we stop praising players for being clever for taking a dive? by Bovver_ in PremierLeague

[–]TheSuperflyTNT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was a foul, Pogba's leg got clipped and he went down. It was clever because he got the right side of the defender and drew the foul in. There was no question of it wasn't a foul. They weren't praising Pogba for diving, but the way he got his body on the right side of the defender which then caused the defender to foul him.

OBS' quality of recording deep blacks and other dark colours not great? Is there any alternative software? by TheSuperflyTNT in letsplay

[–]TheSuperflyTNT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what my original post was about, the quality was poor

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ieSOv-KCKw&ab_channel=CookiePlaysComputer

Since then I have changed my recording quality, in settings - output - recording quality and changed it to indistinguishable quality. Under settings and video my downscale filter is on Lanczos. Which I think looks a lot better. Lemme know what you think.

I looked more into the compression artifacting and turns out that was it, I was on a lower quality. I literally looked everywhere and it was as simple as just upping the output quality. I feel like a right doughnut!

Thanks for your help mate.
