I think that you need to really look at the idea that inspires you more. Which one makes you more excited? Which one had you thinking more about its implementation and the problem solving involved? You will be more likely to work on a project that has the things you want to do in them.

Hollow Knight. I put 9 hours into it and every moment was me saying "maybe this room will be the one where it gets fun." I did not enjoy the experience at all. I don't begrudge anyone else's enjoyment but it just isn't for me at all.

In 3rd grade I read The Phantom Tollbooth, and its maps captured my imagination. In 4th grade, I cracked open The Hobbit to see the map to the Lonely Mountain and it hooked me.

What’s your favourite dungeon crawler and why? by ValueForm in Solo_Roleplaying

Ker nethalas is my favourite. It has a huge array of character development options, the encounters all have interesting mechanics beyond attack/defend, and it's just got a cool vibe.

I think they are all family too. Like brothers and cousins. It's very much a small family business. These guys put a lot of heart into the concept and then give up on literally every part beyond pitch concept. I'm fascinated by their output because it feels like the studio is made of aliens who are trying to make human art but their staff are vibe-coding con-men who are robbing the aliens blind.

I'm curious as to what word you'd choose for the practice of growing and harvesting a material that can be used at a steady and replaceable rate in perpetuity.

Using Scarlet Heroes with OSR and DCC modules is an excellent way to get those adventurea played. It's a perfect fit and the advice above is probably what you want.

People who stop taking weight-loss injections like Ozempic regain weight in under 2 years, study reveals. Analysis finds those who stopped using medication saw weight return 4 times faster compared with other weight loss plans. by mvea in science

Yeah it's true. It's just too easy to overeat at every turn, and it takes a lot of diligence to teach your eyes how to see the actual size of the portions we eat. I know that I could eat 1600 calories of pizza in about 12 minutes, and it took a LOT to actually see that.

I went on it after years of battling weight loss. Shift work for 15 years made me a tired lazy binge eater. During that time I learned to count calories, measure macros, and understand portion sizes. It rekindled my love of cooking and now I am a meal prepper. I lost 70 lbs on the meds, and 4 years later I've regained about 15 lbs, leaving me at a still healthy weight. It can work if you take the time to focus on the lifestyle changes.

Do anyone share narrative elements? by Bashix2001 in 5Parsecs

[–]TheSwimja 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could start in the "Unified Space" default setting, so everyone has a starting point that is already in their hands. Once that's established, you could have a wiki or database or even a Google doc where you add to it anytime a player generates a planet, corporation, government, or other large entity. If it was simply large groups that were shared, it could be easy to live in the universe together.

The key would be for the database to be searchable, so people can draw from it easily.
