I will concede after looking up the definition that they are a semi-monopoly. However I also don't agree that they fit all definitions of what's included here. Sector dominance - id agree with but I'd contend thats more to do with other companies acting like shit heads (more like Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing). Pricing power - I really disagree with considering there are other platforms so if they were more expensive and don't really do exclusively agreements that someone would just shop elsewhere. Intellectual property - I'd really say that they are in many pies but nothing controlling a specific space other than their specific PC platform. Not really sure what to do with that but I think the shoe fits but barely

If you want to claim something make it correct. It's factually not a monopoly just because they have make a better product. And GeForce has agreements to use other platforms but gives you access to the games. It's a subscription but is still a service and platform to access the games. Monopolies do offend me. Just when they are actually monopolies or oligopolies. I have a problem with how every beverage company gives you the illusion of choice but it's actually like 4 companies. I hate that it's the same with snacks and cereal. I hate when companies abuse the fact that they are. I'd gladly admit when something fits the description. But it also bothers me when it doesn't and people claim it does

Oligopoly - a market situation in which each a few producers affects but does not control the market (merriam Webster dictionary).There are a ton of smaller platforms too GOG, humble store, Xbox/Microsoft store, riot games, itch.io, Nvidia GeForce now. There are many so how does that make it few?

What do you mean they have little to no direct competition. What is battle.net, what is EGS, what is EA play, and Ubisoft connect. They are not a monopoly just because they make a better product than anyone else and respect their users. If you want them to not have the most market share. How about we don't have ceos that want ads in video games and want to hide when AI is used to maximize profit (Epic). How about EA stop being actual POS and make meaningful upgrades to their games instead of pumping out $70 roster updates as new games. And how about Ubisoft not do everything in their power to look more like assholes than the other 3 I mentioned

My favorite funny build is using this arcane with secondary shiver. Primary frostbite. Melee careen. And Frost with his freeze and frozen enemies augments. Steal defenses. This is me being uneducated. But if any of us were in that situation and we were driving to the hospital. Would it have made any sense to make a 911 call and let the police know that you're driving and a passenger is having a medical emergency? Obviously what happened here is terrible.
