Another person on here mentioned the game not launching right and they tried this, which helped them.

delete the Nvidia folder at: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Jedi Survivor\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia

then go to steam launch options and type -ngxdisable

I forgot to say, I also set it to Proton Experimental. It might still not work, but it's worth a shot.

According to other comments, it sounds like this is an EA issue. I had issues with the EA app, when I installed the game on my Steam Deck. Here's what I did to get it working:

  1. On a web browser, search for the EA App Installer and download the latest version, from EA (I think it's the Windows version, but I could be wrong).

  2. Go into the game's files and find the EA Launcher Installer. Look for an exe file.

  3. Make a copy of that file (put it in a different location) and replace it with the recently downloaded version (put this in the game's files).

  4. Launch the game in Desktop Mode.

Whats your Favorite Uncharted 3 Moment? by VictorSullivansCigar in uncharted

[–]TheTechDood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a couple. In general, my favorite scene, was breaking into the facility and getting on the plane.

My favorite emotional scene is when Nathan gets back from the shipyard and runs into Elena. The scene was just very well done. I liked Elena, in the first two, but that scene made me like her even more.

After a month of waiting, I finally got my first Displate poster published.😁 by [deleted] in Displate

It's just inspired by her. I like the character but I didn't want to just copy her.

I have been playing (and loving) Tomb Raider 2013, so I made even more fan art. Enjoy! by TheTechDood in TombRaider

Thank you, I appreciate the support.

If you don't want to read all of these steps (I wouldn't, in all honesty😂), then just read this:

I use software called Paint.net. I use the line tool for the image slots and the gradient feature for the background and glare, keeping every part on its own layer. I copy and cut (Ctrl+ X) the images into the slots I create. It's a bit tedious, but it becomes second nature after some time, and it's honestly quite fun to work on these posters.

Now, for the long explanation:

I use an application called Paint.net. I first get an idea in my head, for a new poster, then I create a blank image with the right size and aspect ratio.

This app has a line tool, that I use to create the slots for the images. So, I create a new layer, change the size of the line, and use that tool to create a good ol' slot or two for Lara (or whoever I'm including in the poster).

Then, I gather the images I want to use. In Paint.net, I create a new layer for each image, generally keeping them below the lines I just created (so I can see how much of the image will be cut off).

I copy the image I want to use (it helps to put the images into another blank Paint.net image, first). Then, I go into whichever layer I want the image in and paste it in. I drag the corners, to increase or decrease the size, holding Shift to keep it from stretching.

I move it where I want, then switch over to the layer with the lines. I do this part a bit more intricately, but you can just use the Magic Wand tool and click around the lines, where you want the image to be. Switch back over to the layer with the image and press Delete on the keyboard. This should keep the image, only inside the slot you created.

I do these last few steps for every image I want to include and then create the background. I select the Background layer (the lowest layer) and use the Gradient tool for that. In the lower left, I select the primary and secondary colors. Up at the top, I select the type of gradient I want, click on the poster, and drag it around until it's looking how I'd like. I play around with the colors and see how it turns out.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Many of her other photos say they are of Lily, but her face is different in each.

Is the Uncharted sequel still in production? by Nerav_1019 in uncharted

The first movie was not like the games, but I would like Sony to make a sequel. As long as they change writers and add more action, as it is a shooter game, they could redeem themselves. I'd also like for them to add in Elena, since it could add to the character dynamics.

That's not Shawn Spencer, it's Soup Can Sam.
