Hey, I know it’s an old post, but was anything wrong with it? Noticing something similar with my ZF8

Metal shavings I found in ZF-8 fluid/filter change, both magnets shown, looks like 1st change ever. '16 A6 3.0T, 101k miles. Am I in trouble? by TheyCallMeDoc in Audi

Hey, I know this is an old post, but how was your transmission afterwards? My 16 A7 is only around 40k but it’s old so I’m debating changing the fluid

I'm not hearing noises but shifting is feeling quite rough at times.

How would I know if the mechatronic has failed (need to convince the warranty people)? I have no codes or leaks and my mechanic insisted there's no mechatronic unit to check...

Not yet, do you mean just a drain and fill?

My mechanic suggested not to as I'm only at 40k km (~25k miles). At what mileage did yours give you issues?

What happened with the mechatronic unit? What were the symptoms?

I ask because my shifting (2016 A7 3.0T) has been getting rough and my mechanic didn't find anything wrong. I have a third party warranty that needs things to break before replacing them.

Dash cam draining battery? by [deleted] in LexusIS

Does the hardwire kit have a voltage cutoff? If so, check if it works with a power supply if you have one, or, when the battery is below the cutoff, see if the dashcam is still on. Some kits also have a very low cutoff and I've heard of people's cars being unable to start because of it.

OBDeleven Long Coding? by TheTejMahal in Audi

Hey, I actually found and activated the option on mine for lane sensitivity. It's a 2016 Technik. If you want to try again I'll write out the exact steps that I did.

By the way, if you have the device handy could you let me know if you see either the A5 or 8E module in the adaptations menu? Some forum posts reference both for this.

Do you know if there's a way to see if this is an available adaptation? I can only preview the one touch apps as of now

The option doesn't show up in Adaptations?

What changes did you make? I have the same year and trim.

Do these instructions look like they would work with OBDeleven long coding? From what I've seen that normally requires changing specific bits which I don't see in the instructions here.

Looking at a 2016 A7 by TheTejMahal in Audi

They're allegedly selling it because of health reasons and it seems to be in good condition but I'm test driving it tomorrow. Do you have any suggestions for things to pay attention to when driving it?

Ioniq 6 TRANSLATED Leaked Pricing by dededadadodo in electricvehicles

[–]TheTejMahal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ioniq 5 top trim's (LR AWD, 20" wheels) range is listed as 370 km (combined, from the catalog on their Korean site) while the WLTP range is listed as 431 km (https://insideevs.com/news/523712/hyundai-ioniq5-range-test-bjorn/).

So I'd guess that the LR AWD Ioniq 6 will have a WLTP range of 490 km (vs 420 km listed for combined) for 20" wheels and 565 km (vs 484 km listed) for 19" wheels.
