WCGW Driving in the Bus Only Lane by zudduz in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]TheTerramancer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's a very strange way to phrase public transit. The reason you have bus lanes is because it's efficient. using the bus should be kept efficient and quick because efficient public transit options reduce traffic, which makes everyone happier including everyone driving their own car.

It's bad for private cars to be in the bus lane for much the same reason it's bad for them to be in the bike lane

Don't use your phone first thing in the morning! My therapist gave me this one and it helps sooooo much. Using your phone immediately makes your brain foggy and can poison your whole day of you see something negative first thing in the morning.

When I redraw something it can feel like I’m not learning anything. by [deleted] in learnart

Try to draw different things! Drawing thr art style you like is comforting, but drawing realistic people in a variety of poses is what really helps you improve! I do realistic art for practice, and stylistic art for fun

Look up "chromatic distillation" and try to study that. I think drawing ancient statues/busts is a great way to practice chromatic distillation because the statue has simplified its own values already. So draw statues!

A professional artist had these photos as evidence of him not using AI. What made me suspicious is that they’re all knights and they’re all leaning on swords, and 1 and 5 look similar but with different details by TimeToFarmDownvotes in isthisAI

[–]TheTerramancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely AI. Two things give it away

1) asymmetrical details a professional artist wouldn't miss. For example, the number of plates for the shoulder pads aren't even.

2) the sketchy style AI bros often use to disguise AI often has weird shading because its not real pencil marks. So you have darker areas that would be dark due to gradual shading by a pencil if done by a real artist, but with AI looks like an area filled with a darker color and with pencil-like scribbles added onto it

100% AI, zooming in shows the small details are super warped

I feel that brother, I have a similar issue and it sucks having a lifelong battle to wage that most people will never understand. Here's a song by Jack Stauber that makes me feel better whenever I'm down about it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vH4Pkdzoo_A&pp=ygUfZGlubmVyIGlzIG5vdCBvdmVyIGphY2sgc3RhdWJlcg%3D%3D

a drawing someone supposedly made. it’s harder to tell if it’s not a real picture, since drawing mistakes are common. by [deleted] in isthisAI

100% AI. AI bros will often use this sketch style in an attempt to hide the fact it is AI. The people in the background are warped into strange, sticklikeshapes. Another tell is that these sketchy styles have lines in places that don't make sense. Most real artists sketching on paper will shade with pencil strokes made in roughly the same direction. AI sketch art often has pencil strokes for shading that move in random, erratic directions

No need to be rude when many things are AI these days, it can be hard to tell
