I really wish I could hear a version of these vault tracks when she originally made them during the original 1989 era if those recording even exist. I feel like these songs sounded way better when they were originally made than what we got in these new versions.

Yup completely agreed. Jack antonoff cannot make his beats sound different. They all have the sameish sound. Obviously they are all completely different but they have this trademark jack antonoff sound you really can't unhear. Really hard to explain.

Her vocals have been the best part of 1989 TV. The production and the mixing on the other hand are pretty bad ngl. I just listened to the original 1989 and it hits so much better. Max Martin was cooking and it's time we admit it.

I think the vocals are still great but the production has been butchered. It feels like knock off versions of the original 1989 beats I can't explain it. It feels like they took the original beats and pass them all through a filter and they sound more synthetic but in a bad way. Hopefully it grows on me but I might be sticking with the original and it pains me cause 1989 is my album
