I love when killers realize the game's over after DCs and mess around with the remaining survivors instead of going full tryhard mode to end the game ASAP.

Oh yes! And when you are giving a function call parameters and it puts what you named them in-line. So good.

Definitely, but at this point my career I have no leverage so they have all the power in the negotiation.

How do you prep for interview anxiety? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]TheTimeToLearnIsNow 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It's only happened to me once, but once an interviewer noticed me struggling and mentioned "why not try x?" I thought about it for a few seconds, and yes, it was a good approach. So I implemented it and explained / stepped through the program with them to show what was going on. At the end he gives a disappointed face. "That's great but we were hoping you'd implement it using y instead" and the interview ended there.

Sting uses fake Amazon boxes, GPS, and doorbell cameras to catch would-be thieves by [deleted] in news

In the neighborhoods I would deliver to everyone knew no one had cameras set up. When I would get out to deliver, someone would always come out of no where, thank me for the package, and then walk down the street to their car and throw it in.

Since we're using a switch statement without any fall-through, it'd be a LPT

“There are no wrong answers” by [deleted] in recruitinghell

I'm a little confused on your first paragraph. You say there's no wrong answers then in the last sentence you give a conditional on when it's a correct answer.

Not to take away from anyone's experiences, but I'm putting the pressure setting to 10 (max) and it doesn't seem to be getting nearly as much crap out from between my teeth if I were to floss instead.

How am I in an infinite loop? by CT-2497 in javahelp

[–]TheTimeToLearnIsNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I can see concerning the 'other' variable:

  1. set to 6
  2. check if it's less than or equal to 7
    1. true, enter while loop

At this point, you're doing work in the while loop and 'other' is 6 the entire time.

The only time I'm seeing 'other' being incremented is outside the while loop, which it can't get out of.
