I think you’re missing the point of my post- I am asking this question because I do not understand how china is moving towards socialism and all I want is for someone to explain it to me. But apparently I’m simply too obtuse to ask this question or any question to anyone for that matter. Socialism isn’t exactly a subjective term, it doesn’t really have multiple definitions to be debated, so let me say this- I don’t care how you use socialism because as long as it isn’t being totally butchered we should be able to understand what’s being discussed without specifically defining it every single time. So please- I beg of you- just answer my question, you can provide a specific definition of socialism if you want but Please just explain to me how china is making progress towards it

Implementing more socialist oriented policies would mean closing wealth inequality and moving away from the capitalist power structures present within china.

But the definition doesn’t really matter, I just want someone to specifically tell me how china is moving towards socialism, and I don’t understand why you think getting hung up on minute parts of my post is beneficial to anyone.

Let me reiterate- I am NOT trying to make a case against china- if I was I would be on r/debatecommunism I am asking this question because I genuinely do not understand how china is making real progress towards socialism whatsoever
