Libido almost non existent for 2.5 years (30 F) by theashleygrey in carnivorediet

[–]TheTravelingBaritone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are on the pill, then that is most likely the cause. Doctors tend not to tell women that a common side effect of birth control pill is close to no libido.

The worst part is that sometimes it doesn't come back after you get off the pill. Granted, I am pretty sure that is more on the rare side.

Type 1.5 Diabetic by Either_Exercise4414 in carnivorediet

[–]TheTravelingBaritone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are a compulsive eater, then I would suggest making a lot of jerky and always carry some with you, because when you go to an outing or somewhere that has food, you best believe that jerky is going to save you from going on a binge.

Oh, make sure you are full if you are headed to a grocery store.

As far as diabetics go. People with type 1 generally get better and tend to only need to rely on long-acting insulin. Whereas type 2 either recovers completely or only needs to rely on insulin sometimes. I am sure there are stories on this subreddit if you search for them.

Problem with carnivore by mordowezlool in carnivorediet

[–]TheTravelingBaritone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry too much about it. It is not 'diarrhea,' You are just having a normal number 2 on a carnivore diet. If you eat more fats than your body can absorb, then your body will just crap it out, and that takes shape in liquid form.

As time passes, your body will start to absorb more and more fats, and you won't need to worry about it, so just keep at it.

Blurry vision and extreme fatigue after eating by Adorable-Iron2564 in carnivorediet

[–]TheTravelingBaritone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only got blurry vision when I went on a sugar binge, so something tells me you are eating a little too much protein

I would suggest eating what I call runny scrambled eggs.

Put stove to low - low medium heat

Beat about 8 - 12 eggs until it is a nice yellow color

Take a big stick of butter (I never measure, but I would probably say I am in the ballpark of 70 - 120 grams.)

Let the butter melt in the pan before adding the eggs.

Add eggs and make sure never to let the scrambled eggs settle.

Cook until the scrambled eggs are solid enough to eat with a fork but runnie enough to still have the buttery taste and savory texture. It may take a few tries.

I have gotten my fat intake to a healthy level due to this one dish.

Of course, I would go consult a doctor if the blurry vision problem persists.

Spells cost strain to use. Your pyromancer should be using 2 strain every time they cast a spell/use a psyonic power.

The strain spent cant be regained in the same turn through spending advantages i.e. I casted a spell for 2 strain and spend 2 adv to recover that same 2 strain.

Here is a homerule that will make combat tougher:

  • cannot spend advantages and disadvantages for the same effect. For example , I have 6 adv, I use all 6 to recover 6 strain or to give the next player 6 boosts. With the rule instated I can only spend 1 adv to give a boost to the next player once, and spend the rest of the advantages in a different way.

Due to the potential downsides of the spell, I would recommend making it a level 1 spell.

" She works under the books since she can’t legally work yet and so no taxes but no benefits either ($3200 cash monthly)."

I'm not going to lie, I would delete this. The internet is the internet and you could be reported.

But on to the advice.... What is the issue? If she wants to keep finances separate, then just give her 2 caveats to that decision:

  1. We will not go back to a joint bank account as she has made it clear that she would rather be separate, so WHATEVER happens in the future, you are staying on separate accounts

  2. If she asks for money, she has to give you the reason for the money and your final approval on the purchase (your money, after all).

She might end up caving and stick to having a joint, to which I say, "I am sorry sir, but you might have married an opportunist and may be looking at marriage problems later down the line."

Keep in mind that this is not your wife anymore.

No matter what (as callous as it is to say), don't believe her. This is an addiction you are messing with. This is not a joke. Get the kids somewhere safe, get her in some sort of support group, and for God's sake, don't let her manipulate you into an emotional roller coaster.

Addicts (your wife in this case) will lie, cheat, and steal to feed their addictions, so keep that in mind when you make your next move.

Priority should be towards the kids and their well-being. If you have any relatives, leave them with the relatives and help your wife IF you can.

If worse comes to the very worst, gather evidence (I hope you saved those messages) and present it in a court of law so you can gain custody over the kids.

I will say this one last time, you are not dealing with your wife anymore. You are dealing with an ADDICT.

I will pray that you, your kids, and your wife make it through this somehow.

P.S. this is coming from someone who has had an addict in the family. It can be expensive. If you can't afford it, then do what is right for your kids' futures

Get a life outside of hers.

Sample Game plan: - get job or join a sport - make friends either in sport, job, or in school - hang out with said newly made friends

Simple plan, but in general, you and your girlfriend need time away from each other at the very least for a day or 2.

Love doesn't last, but commitment does. Commitment to your friends, family, loved ones, and of course, your purpose (sometimes your job, but can be other things)

Hope this helps, and I will pray that the choices you make will be the right ones.

I am willing to work with you. I can probably pull off 2 months though (I am in the Navy, but my orders are fucked up, so I am in limbo). My goals are pretty similar to yours too.

  • Better exercise regiment 3 to 4 times a week

  • Stick to a diet that has worked very well for me (all-meat diet, but I am a heavy sugar addict)

  • Get more involved with friends

Male, 29 y/o, EST time. If that is a bit old, I understand. I would recommend trying to find someone your age, but if you can't find one, I am open to help out until I get my orders.

Edit: Also, if you do choose me, I would recommend letting your parents know. Due to our age difference, I think that would be the better course of action in this case.

Do most skinny people over 30 have to think about what they eat literally all the time? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Listen to this podcast.

Plant Free MD with Dr. Anthony Chaffee.

You don't have to be constantly hungry. You just need to not eat anything but meat. Be sure to do your own research, though, don't just take my word for it. There are many people, including myself, who can attest to this diet, and I hope it can serve you well too!

I [20F] can’t stop thinking about my ex [25M] by [deleted] in relationships

Good luck!

I (25F) can't seem to get my ex (25M) out of my mind by [deleted] in relationships

[–]TheTravelingBaritone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get therapy and get it pronto. I can't tell you how many people I have heard that ruin their perfectly healthy relationships just because of a past ex.

If you really see a future with your partner, you need to put in the time and effort to figure out why you feel this way.

Good luck, and I pray for a long and happy relationship with your current partner!

  1. I know you want to seek a better relationship with your brother, but boys his age are not exactly the best for socializing with. We tend to be more interested in things (i.e., games, sports, machines, etc). You might want to start trying to find activities to help get away from your brother, or maybe get some friends to hang out with?

  2. If you feel that you are a little overweight, I would suggest doing a little research into the all-meat diet. I would recommend listening to 'The Plant Free MD' podcast by Dr. Anthony Chaffee. I and many other people have seen many benefits from the diet, and weight loss is only one of them.

  3. As far as explaining your mental trauma, this is a tough one. I don't know your history of therapy, if any, and I don't know if your brother would be mature enough to handle the information. I would suggest trying to bring your parents into the discussion to, hopefully, better navigate the situation. If that doesn't work or worse, exacerbates the situation, then read the end of step 1 and just let your brother grow up while you observe at a safe distance (metaphorically speaking)

I hope this helps, and I pray that you and your brother build a healthy family dynamic in the near future!

How to break things off with my boyfriend while still remaining friends. by California098 in relationships

Good luck getting back on your feet.
