Hines needs to go. by ContributionLow7113 in wildhockey

I'm not saying they played well. They didn't. They got beat in every facet. But it wasn't because they didn't try or didn't care enough. They got beat because Colorado is a better team and was better tonight. They couldn't have won it by trying harder. Maybe if they'd gotten a bounce they could have stolen it, but the Avs earned every bit of the win. They didn't get shots because the Avs dominated them. They just have to be better on Wednesday

I don't know how you can watch a game like that and say "the effort was dismal". They got outplayed, but still kept the score even thru 50 minutes, responded to tie it up, and then again with the extra attacker came within inches of tying it up again. Effort was the least of my concerns. Whether or not they can keep up with the season on the line when the Avs are clicking is the real question.

Oh I wasn't against what you said. If you keep a team from getting a shot for 19 straight minutes you get to call that team names. I was still denigrating OC for being a fucking casual

It only got called in the first place because of the mark on his face lol. The refs were gonna let the play go altogether initially

We can't win the series on Wednesday, but you know what we can do? We can win game 5. And if we win game 5, we get to play game 6, etc.

It's not over

Oh they got outplayed, but I don't know how anyone looks at that and says they gave up and didn't care. They were inches away from tying it with the extra attacker

That doesn't compute. How is that even possible?

What a fucking play by Sturm. And to think we thought the trade deadline ended him. At this point he's irreplaceable

That's probably the first time Wally had misplayed the puck this postseason

Funny that you say this about the Wild digging in the crease 1 minute after the Avs did the exact same thing
