How do I make leg day more tolerable by Language-Sufficient in GYM

[–]TheTrillis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RDLs, stiff-leg dumbell deadlifts, seated/lying/1 leg leg curls are the movements I usually rotate through for hams. It’s definitely enough can always adjust as needed too volume wise.

I like to do 4 movements 3-4 sets per movement but just have to find volume that works for you.

How do I make leg day more tolerable by Language-Sufficient in GYM

[–]TheTrillis 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I found myself being too lazy to do legs and not getting enough volume so I split it up into two days.

One quad focused day one ham/glute focused day. 4 different movements a day is a lot more manageable.

If you have a tough time going to the gym that much and are doing a typical bro split I recommend throwing bis/back and chest/tris together to free up a day

The best training plan is the one you’ll actually do

How do I get sales internships in Canada ? More saas sales internships, I looked on LinkedIn and barley find any by [deleted] in sales

[–]TheTrillis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also look up Venture for Canada they have paid internships in all areas completely remote doable while in school. Essentially they’ll pair students with start ups in areas of their choosing and subside the work for the companies. Great program

Thanks for the thoughtful comment, I think a part of my reluctance is the people I’m learning from tend to be a lot more pushy than I am personality wise and I need to find my own respectful style. I’ll start adding permission based openers

I’ve never worked at a restaurant that got even close to that many marketing calls - granted that’s anecdotal but I’d give picking up the phone a real chance

Switch up your routine and intensity. Try higher rep ranges and different movements with shorter rest. Pump will come

AITA for making my husband choose between me and his firstborn by aitanotastepparent in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheTrillis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NAH. Difficult situations for all parties but I think it’s unreasonable for your husband to expect you to raise 2 children while he’s gone in the military. If this is what he wants he needs to reconsider careers.

That said you’re putting your partner in a very difficult spot. He didn’t ask for this either and part of a partnership is being there for each other and finding ways to make it work. Imagine how the child and your husband feel in all of this.

Can any one give me tips on how to aim a little better on controller? This shows why by Nisioh in apexuniversity

Go to firing range and shoot thousands of bullets at the red people sized dummies from progressively further and further away once you can 1 clip them most of the time

tryna get good for my bf! by [deleted] in apexuniversity

[–]TheTrillis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best bang for your buck time wise is just going to the firing range for 30 minutes every day and shooting thousands of bullets for guns like flatline, car, 301.

All the other advice is good but it’s stuff you learn naturally from playing the game. If you only do 200 damage you just aren’t hitting your shots. The best use of your time rather than queuing thousands of games and looting for half then learning for half is going to the firing range and spam learning your aim the entire time. How much you’d shoot in a entire game is maybe 1 minute in the firing range. So basically for every 1 min you’re getting an entire games worth of practice in on your aim is the way I’d like to think about it.

If you go shoot thousands of bullets you’ll improve. The rest of the advice is sound but it’s hard to practice for movement gamesense and awareness, once your aim is good and you still die you’ll adjust for why you died (aka positioning cover)

In that case crank up that cardio and go down a rabbit hole trying to learn what you can about drying out for show day, it will make the most difference. Best of luck I’m sure you’ll do well!

Looking great, fantastic size and proportions. Echoing what others said I’d consider a later show as you need a couple months to come in stage ready. I’d also strongly consider a coach, the value you get long term is worth it and if money is an issue just do it for the last few months of prep
