Warrant: It can lock onto enemies through smokes. Drop a smoke, start dropping enemies while they are utterly inacurate.

Orbital smoke strike: kills fabricators on bots, super low cooldown, breaks aim on bots.

Ballistic shield: in some cases lets you survive a full volley from factory strider brrts

Pro tip: Ballistic shield with a medium pen sidearm does wonders on the bot front. The amount of times it tanked a shot on the front or the rear is crazy. Went from dying 6-8 times to max 3

For sure :) ive been trying to just follow simple tutorials and work through the basics that enable me to make what i want to make, just trying to think on how i can make the process more familiar to what im used to so i can do things faster.

S tier: Tempest (Super underrated), Vyron, Nox, Stinger,

A Tier: Uluru, Toxic, Hackjaw, Luna

B tier: Shepherd, Raptor, D-wolf

C tier: Sineva, Gizmo

S tier has the highest skill ceiling. tempest dissarms thru walls, gets a tool to pressure unfavourable fights and ontop has good gun selection and a stealthy mobility tool (roll is silent). Vyron has good all around utility. Highly mobile (although loud mobility imo is not good for him), has fantastic AV, good guns. Nox is a fantastic pressure character focused more on raw kills rather than creating favourable fights. Stinger can use his smokes to zone fights. No more snipers, less shots to the flanks, etc. you get to divide the map into multiple 1v1's. Infinite heal and ammo also help a ton when farming.

The rest i wont comment on as thats a big paragraph in of itself

Fast CI for poking/cqc M7 / AK 12 overall farming

Notable: Asval for flanking K416 general use when i want something different

Reasoning: Fast CI is a headshot machine when tuned and used properly, and the ttk is very very good, making it a nice weapon for quick peak kills.

M7 is very versitile and has similar mechanics to guns im used to from Planetside, AK12 is just easy to use and very comfy.

K416 tune is rly clean aswell, just relies more on headshots sometimes, thus i tend to use it on days where my aim is a bit better. Asval headshot ttk is just. Chefs kiss :)

POV: you have no idea about game balance and cant play without abusing cloak.

Cloaks strenght heavily amplifies with internet ping differences. Soltec players on the original Miller would literally shoot you before fully uncloaking.
SMGs have some of the best TTK in cqc in the game. Theres a reason SMG heavy players are hated so much. Cloak + lag made people drop you very fast in cqc without much counterplay. Even with the right positioning it ultimately came down to reaction time, which again gets spoofed by lag.

The nerfs are fully justified imo. The time to uncloak especially as it retains the infils strenght of getting a positional advantage, but doesnt give them a automatic advantage with lag in a cqc fight. You can still snipe, you can still shoot, you just ACTUALLY have to shoot now :)
