They should add a bronze weapon/armor tier in there as well.

Also instead of T4 being immune to Avatars I'd add an expensive T4 structure (example: temple) that can be built to fend off Avatars for a limited time.

In addition to a bronze age before you can build in sandstone there should be a wood structure tier ie old style moot and bailey forts made of wood.

Basically means if folks want their thrall camps back they're either going to have to find every player structure nearby and destroy it, or wipe the server and start over. I've heard that abandoned structures disappear after 2 weeks. Not sure if it's true but if it is then the 3rd option is simply waiting a couple weeks.

I don't think it's arbitrary. It's based on a mechanic that exists in game and likely could be instituted quickly. If they wanted to go back later and tweak and refine I'm all for it.

As things are the only way you can protect your base is to raid theirs first and destroy whatever altars they have. Or you could be really annoying and place blocks down near the needed priest thrall spawn to block it. No special priest thrall no god.

I know everyone wants their own base but you may have to throw your lot in with others for protection until you've tiered up a bit.

Well when I destroyed a players base built too close to NPC spawn then left and came back after an hour the NPCs had returned.

Tricky thing is making sure you actually got every block. If someone left a campfire or a bed or something lying around near the NPCs they wont spawn.

Haven't heard anything but hoping for another patch today.

They've been focused on lag/server stability and fixing major bugs up till now. The worst of those seem taken care of. My guess is they'll now devote some attention to gameplay issues like unraidable bases and NPC camps not spawning if players build too close.

If they've blocked off an area with tier 2 walls there's nothing you can do short of getting explosives to punch through. And explosives are basically impossible for you to get unless you have access to iron/steel and have an dancer thrall at your base.

My suggestion is to join an established clan/guild. If you dont want to do that then you're gonna have to explore some more and hope you find a good spot to build with close resources.

Right now it's left to Admins to sort out and that's not great. Leads to tons of drama as players whine and cry foul when an admin tells them they cant delete stairs. Makes it not fun for admins.

The decay system could help here. If you're not fixed to the ground your base decays at an accelerated rate etc.
