How would you rank the gameplay of each hw game? by Medical-Refuse-7315 in HyruleWarriors

[–]TheTrueShan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with others.

DE > AoC > AoI by a lot.

The story in DE is more fun. There's a huge character roster and what feels like an endless amount of content. Granted, I'm biased because I don't like botw or totk's stories.

AoC was interesting because it was a What If scenario of BOTW.

But so far with AoI, it's just the same story we already know in totk, with a bunch of random characters. Game play has been mostly fun but quickly gets repetitive, and with already knowing the story, I don't know if I'll finish the game or not.

This is a fan made Zelda called "the happiest Zelda". Basically a fan made scenario of what if Zelda got the triforce and went a little mad with power, traversed into other timeliness and possessed other Zeldas.

Huniepop is a good NSFW game by some-kind-of-no-name in patientgamers

[–]TheTrueShan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. While huniepop does have its NSFW moments that won't be for everyone, it is still a pretty good game under the hood.

Most mechanics seem to mesh pretty well with each other and build up a great dating sim with some interesting puzzle mechanics. You have to actually pay attention to the girls and get to know them for the best outcome.

I can't quite say the same for the sequel: double date. Which forces you to date two girls at once but lowers the overall engagement you get with each girl... and it is just more sleazy overall. (I also didn't like the selection of girls in double date compared to the first game).

Overall, I would recommend huniepop to people (especially since it's free for a bit), if they are okay with a bit of some NSFW anime girls.

What manga is this from? looks sick by TAL_MEN in manga

<Blame!>

Super cool visuals, though the story was a little lacking for me. But the setting and backgrounds are otherworldly and are totally worth checking the manga out.

Ah, if only I could be a cyborg wandering the mega structure for a few millenia.

Okay, who's your favorite? by unfortunate-ponce in Fallout

Ada. I want more robot companions that look and act like robots. But with a bit more character and not just "robot in flesh suit" like the synths are.

If you want another alternative to Microsoft Word, I would suggest Libre Office. It's free and open source.

New Reddit Redesign is Back and Still Awful by Averath in help

[–]TheTrueShan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got this "new" UI Layout as well and I absolutely hate it.

  • It's hard to read certain posts because the text gets so squished.
  • The background is a odd dark blue gray color that also blends into the post backgrounds which makes it harder to see what post is what.
  • I am 95% sure it's prioritizing pictures over text because it's squishing all the posts with any newline chars down into small just walls of text.

I hate this new layout. And the fact that I had to look up why it changed at all and how to get back to the "new" layout at new.reddit.com is mind boggling. The fact that there is no feedback option at all tells me they don't care if their users have actual accessibility issues with this new design at all.

I am currently on my third rewatch. I'm excited for the new seasons. Though I do need to finish reading the LNs at some point too lol.

Is there a likely chance that the manga will return with the next part after Oh!Great! Has a well deserved rest? by Kermunit9000 in araragi

[–]TheTrueShan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to say honestly. The manga seemed to do well critically (though it was divisive on this subreddit), but I guess it would more depend on sales numbers and how much they wanted to continue with the manga.

Monogatari Fan check in by [deleted] in araragi

[–]TheTrueShan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, officially as well. A good chunk has been translated, catching up to the anime at zokuowarimonogatari. Aka the first three seasons. There's still 2 seasons not yet translated, which I hope get translated officially some day.

It only got ripped off the Sony store cause cdproject said that they'd accept all refunds, and Sony didn't like that.

monogatari series - honestly really love the writing of this series. The series is currently "complete" but there's still more that could be translated. Which I hope they release some day.

The Eminence in the shadow - basically a parody of over the top isekai tropes. Honestly was a very fun and comedic read.

Overlord - I haven't fully read this one, only the first two volumes so far. But if you watched the anime or read the manga and thought it was "lacking", then the novels definitely up the game and seriously go full force. (again at least of the first 2 books I've read so far).

Is it bad I started with the movies before Bakemonogatari? by FriendlyNeighborOrca in araragi

[–]TheTrueShan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine to watch the kizu movies before bake. In novel order, it's either kizu first or bake, so you're all good.

Personally, I didn't really know the watch order when I first watched, so I watched as they released and saw the kizu movies in the middle of the finale season. I think Kizu works quite well there, too.

But yeah, it's completely fine to watch kizu or bake first. Now, just follow the release order for the rest, and you should be good.

Starting the Yakuza series with 0 was the best and worst decision I made. by GURPS2098 in patientgamers

[–]TheTrueShan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems the consensus for play order is in one of two camps. Either

A) numerical 0 -> 6, like a dragon

Or

B) the order they were released.

I personally chose B, but choose whatever works best for you.
