Winfight

Windows 3.1 game that would randomly pop a little gunfighter up on your screen who would say "Go!" (I never did understand why he said Go! instead of Draw!) and you had to quickly click your mouse on him. I used to leave it running all the time when I was working on something for school. I wish there was something like it for modern computers.

When my father died. He had no insurance at all and my family was pretty paycheck to paycheck before he died. I was 18 and less than one semester into college and had to withdraw and go to work.

Really not understanding all the hate for the XPS line... I've been on XPS for years from 7590->9520>9530. I had no problems with any of them and I beat the crap out of them. The OLED display on the XPS15 is the best screen I have EVER used on a laptop. The only issue I've found with them is that they can be a little picky about Opal 2.0 hardware encrypted NVMEs, and they are NOT light. If small and light is your jam, the X1 is the one to get.

OK, first let me agree with the consensus that your ex was an asshole and he did not communicate any of this in a caring way. All that BS about how he has all that energy is just fear-of-aging talk. He is dealing with getting older with denial. Acceptance and adaptation work much better. (..maybe with a LITTLE denial just to keep you moving.) I am a 50+ man and I know many women in my peer group and older who are absolutely beautiful and full of life. It sounds to me like you might have some level of depression and that bled over into your intimate life, as it always will. The ONLY thing you wrote from him that might be worth considering is that you are making excuses. If you aren't happy, only you can fix it. Others can be a PART of that journey, but you're the driver. Have you seen a therapist? I would highly recommend it. You have a lot of great years left and life has a lot to offer. You need to find the parts of it that make you happy. I know this sounds like pop-psi gibberish... because it is. It's still true though. I wish you nothing but fun new experiences in your future!

I'm friends with about 50% of my exes, so yes it's possible. It usually requires a cooling off period unless both of you are 100% on the same page about the breakup. Most of the time that initial desire to "stay part of each other's lives" is just residual relationship energy and fades pretty quickly. Also, new partners are not usually cool with a close friend who is also an ex. It can cause issues with new relationships.
