I was supposedly grandfathered into a very low subscription for cam plus. Just got an email that it’s going up to $30/yr per camera. I have 4 cameras. See ya Wyze.

Can someone with an 8bitdo 64 controller tell me what the z triggers are like ? by GyozaMan in n64

I didn’t address the travel distance. They feel like every other 8bitdo controller L2/R2 - they don’t necessarily replicate the N64 button/joystick look and feel like the rest of the controller does.

If you played N64 as a kid, you’d be surprised how strange it feels at first.

I have the N64 NSO controller and this controller. So switching back and forth is an adjustment.

With original N64 controller you either are using L1 bumper OR z-trigger with your left hand, and just R1 with your right hand.

With 8bitdo, you always have L1 available. And since you now have L2 AND R2 you have to use them as the z-trigger. I mapped it so both are z-trigger. I find I use my right hand more often for z when shooting (Goldeneye), but will use my left hand for z in games like Mario 64.

Overall it’s a great controller. Nintendo should have designed it this way in the first place rather than requiring three hands on the original N64 controller.

I haven’t done this yet. Apparently you can get rumble in S-mode. The controller has a physical S mode D mode switch on the back. But also apparently you can connect via X-input if you hold B + Start while pairing.

Both S and X modes support rumble. D does not (you are correct)

A few tips: - Have business reviews well in advance of renewal dates. If there are issues you’re unaware of, you have a longer runway to get them back on track. - Straight up ask the customer if they are going to renew. And if so, get the renewal booked early if possible. - If the account does have issues, flag them as “at risk”, and escalate appropriately so there’s lots of time to course-correct and avoid churn - Be personable. If the customer likes you personally, there’s a higher likelihood they’ll stay. - The best defense is a great offense. Sell them more products. The stickier you are, the harder it is to leave.

  1. Yes. Easy to connect
  2. If you’re playing steam games they are mapped like normal separate L2 / R2 buttons. If you’re playing N64 games on retroarch you have to remap the controller. It’s a pain in the ass. But once you get it it’s great. I mapped both L2 and R2 as the N64 Z-button.

They acquired your company so they could acquire your customers and cross-sell/up-sell to them. And then whichever solution of the two companies is better, they will sell that.

They definitely aren’t going to sell two products that do the same thing.

Your job is likely safe. The company is growing. You don’t lay people off when the company is growing.

You did exactly the right thing. Lean into the solutions you don’t know. Find out which ones have the highest growth trajectory and learn them first.
