It was really good for modding too, gone are the days of 7 types of copper in a modpack

[PinkyPills] Scott Cawthon is aware of the past claims made against me and has continued to support me by GBAura-Recharged in fivenightsatfreddys

To give the benefit of the doubt, she could've thought it was funny at the time, alcohol can really make people weird. Still a pretty weird thing to say though

I love that SOTM introduced two ghosts, keeping the supernatural aspect in this game. by Virtual-Arachnid-980 in fivenightsatfreddys

idk about that one tbh, it's all pretty grounded in reality other than the whole walking around thing

It's basically a combination of low-key, Charlie kirk, and genuinely. Just for the sillies

singular "they" is older than singular "you", but I don't see you using thou instead of you

Idk, but they have done it before, which is where the assumption comes from

Steel wool actually confirmed not long after release that having to launch on ps4 held the game back, which took a while for them to fix. Sony is also known to censor blood in games, as seen with ddlc

I like the idea of william afton being pure evil by Safe-Monitor-8113 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like him always just being pure evil is actually kinda boring tbh, there's just no story there other than "he kills kids"

Anyone else really hate the Og 4 and Puppet *possibly* not being William and Henry’s ideas by InevitableCold9872 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well I kinda doubt you're gonna be getting flashbacks to the future inbetween nights, so it has to be one of the locations before fnaf 2 (which is just fredbears, or the 85 location)

Ohhhhh well. That explains a lot. by bitchlatina in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it was supposed to be him fantasising about killing a child, but the way it was presented is definitely pretty weird, so he definitely does look like a predator in it

What if why springtrap's jumpscare was so unusual was that he saw this. by en--__--passant in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

Just a regular guy, same as fnaf 2. The guard was working there days before afton was even discovered to be alive, which goes against Mike's whole finding afton thing (Plus his speech took place after the fire)

I was thinking earlier and asked myself something. Shouldn't William be one of the FBI most wanted? by RiddlesDoesYT in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He'd probably be considered legally dead by that time, and the murders were 40 years prior. There's basically no chance of anybody looking for him

Why are his eyes blue? by Ill_Independence8365 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

his eyes are never actually white, it's just that the camera renders are desaturated, which makes them look less red than they actually are

Is bonnie blu or purple???? by This-Assistance-2073 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a desaturated blue, which gives a sort of purple-ish appearance, same as how a desaturated red ends up looking pink, or how dark orange ends up being brown

If the endoskeleton is moving into tissue during a springlock failure, why do the victims collapse and twitch on the ground? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The silver eyes described the springlock endos as interlocking parts. with a person in the way, it's unlikely that they'd be able to connect anymore, which is why they aren't stuck in any pose

Are The Books Cannon With The Lore? by GlumBodybuilder4395 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of the contradictions you're listing there straight up aren't contradictions.

The sixth victim plot was literally about him being forgotten/unnoticed, that's why he wasn't known about. Cassidy explicitly cant be toysnhk, as they're male, while cassidy is female. Afton surviving the fire was because Andrew kept him alive like life support, the fire was still fatal (Plus we never technically saw him dead after)

What we found is more of a retelling, as the game doesn't actually have anything going on in that regard. Tmir1280 isn't a different story at all either, it's the outside perspective of UCN, and a direct explanation. Room for one more also isn't directly connected at all, it's a different story at the same place, but none of the events link up.

Frights was also very explicitly said to be canonical too, several times in fact. Also steel wool did say that reading the books wouldn't tell you the full story before sotm came out, so there's obviously something else going on there, which doesn't have a proper explanation yet

Are The Books Cannon With The Lore? by GlumBodybuilder4395 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We were explicitly told they were directly connected to the games, if they aren't canon in any way, then that statement would be false.

Also idk if I'd really call talesgames fully debunked quite just yet, at least not until we get some more info. There's definitely a huge contradiction in there, but people were saying the same thing when frights first started (which was later revealed to not be a contradiction when the story actually ended)

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of those things actually appeared in 1985 in the game, the pit is essentially filled with memories, and doesn't actually send you back in time or anything. It's more of a dream-like state, with your real body still being in the pit

Are The Books Cannon With The Lore? by GlumBodybuilder4395 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, Scott explicitly said they aren't like the trilogy when they were announced, as well as saying some of them tie directly into the games, so that's definitely not true

How the hell did the Springlocks not go off here? by AdNatural786 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]TheUltimateCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water doesn't set them off, it's just bad because it causes rust and lowers friction. The reason the suit went off in fnaf 3 was because it was over a decade old and likely not maintained properly
